Es gibt zwei Arten von Zupfen / There are two kinds of picking: 1. apoyando = zupfen mit Anlegen / Rest Stroke. Der Finger kommt nach dem Anschlag auf die benachbarte Saite zu liegen. Geeignet vor allem für einstimmige Melodien oder besonders betonte Noten.2. tirando = zupfen ohne Anlegen / Free Stroke. Der Finger bleibt nach dem Anschlag in der Luft. Geeignet für Akkorde und Teile von Akkorden, aber auch Melodiespiel möglich.Da mit 'tirando' schneller typische Gitarrenstücke gespielt werden können, halte ich dies besser für den Einstieg.

In diesen "Ersten Schritten" kann alles tirando gezupft werden. Wer aber das apoyando beherrscht, kann es z. Bsp. in step 13, 15, 18 etc. anwenden.

In this 'First Steps' everything can be played by 'tirando'. But people who know the 'apoyando' may apply it in steps 13, 15, 18 and others.
