Sigrid Heuck wurde in Köln geboren und lebt seit 1949 im bayerischen Voralpenland. Nach dem Studium der Mode-Grafik besuchte sie die Akade-mie der bildenden Künste in Mün-chen und machte sich anschließend als freiberuflich arbeitende Grafikerin selbstständig. Sigrid Heuck kam über die Illustration zum Schreiben, weil es ihr besonderen Spaß machte, eigene Texte auszustatten. Seitdem sind zahlreiche Kinderbücher von ihr erschienen.

Die gesammelten Abenteuer von Pony und Bär gibt es bei OMNIBUS auch in deutscher Sprache:
