Haiyan

Haiyan ist chinesisch und bedeutet „Sturmvogel“. Der Taifun hat die Philippinen erreicht und das Land ins Chaos gestürzt. Am Morgen des 08.11.2013 traf der Sturm auf der Insel Samar, rund 600 km südöstlich von Manila auf Land. In Böen erreichte er bereits Geschwindigkeiten von 379 km pro Stunde.

Haiyan is chinese language and means “Petrel”. The typhoon has reached the Philippines and plunged the country into chaos. On the morning of 08/11/2013, the storm arrived on the island of Samar, about 600 kilometers southeast of Manila in the country. He already gusts reached speeds of 379 km per hour.
