A French network of cycling friendly cities and local authorities founded in 1989. More than 250 members today. §  2012: Founding of a

parliamentary group for cycling

Indemnité kilométrique vélo (IKV) = cycling kilometric allowance  

 à Since February 2016 in France à 0,25€/km à For voluntary companies only: private sector employees + officials of the Ministry of sustainable development and the Ministry of Housing

IKV – How does it work? •  Free of charge for employers and free of

taxation on income for employees at a maximum of 200€/year

•  For voluntary companies only: private sector employees + officials of the Ministry of sustainable development and Housing

•  Can be cumulated with a public transport reimbursement for commuters who bike to the nearest station
