The filler dispensers A3C, A10C and A20C are operated pneu-matically and are suitable for two component highly viscouspastes. The paste is discharged through an opening in the base ofthe tin or hardener cartridge by a manually operated valve. Thepiston for the hardener cartridge is linked to the main piston.

Filler dispensers are available in the above three sizes. The follo-wing provides instructions for the installation, operation and hand-ling of the 3 types.

The operating instructions use the following names and symbols to indicatepossible dangers.

This symbol indicates possible danger to the life and health of theuser. If this symbol is ignored the safety of the user can be a riskA life threatening injury could occur.

This symbol indicates that you can find advice for the operation of thedispenser and other helpful infomiation. These will enable you to utilise the dispenser most efficiently.

This symbol provides information on operating the dispenserin an environmentally friendly manner and for disposing of theused materials.

5.2 Preparing the HardenerRemove the plastic caps from both ends of the hardener cartridge. Place thebottom of the hardener cartridge (9) firmly into the adapter (10) and then into thehole provided.

5.3 Filling

There is a danger of crus-hing the rim of the tin bythe piston

– Connect the adapter for the com-pressed air supply to the pressureregulator (11)

– Adjust the pressure by pulling outand turning the cap to about 1 bar (12)

The „Summer Adapter ” is issued as standard. In workshops with an ope-rating temperature of more than 20 °C this should be used. Should theworking temperature be less than 20 °C the ‚winter adapter’ should beused. This can be purchased from the manufacture. The „winter” and„summer” hardener cartridge are different sizes.

– using the handle open the discharge head (13)

– Pull out the control knob (14), which drives the piston slowly downwards. Whenboth the filler and hardener discharge in a regular flow, close the discharge head(13) and regulate the discharge rate with the pressure valve (ill. 10 / pos. 12)to between 4–5 bar, as required.

5.4 Changing the Tin

Always change the filler tin and hardener cartridgeat the same time, even when there is a smallamount of hardener left in the cartridge.i

Dispose of the empty tins and hardener cartridge in an

environmental manner. Follow the advice given on the tin.

– Push in the control knob (ill. 13 / pos. 16).

– Withdraw the piston from the tin and hardener cartridge.

– Disconnect the air supply by removing the air line adapter (ill. 10 / pos. 11)

– Remove the empty tin and hardener cartridge.

– Clean the pressure plate and if necessary the area around the hardener cartridge.Use a spatula or suitable solvent – acetone.
