As a manufacturer of equipment for fast custom prototypes and manufacturing components, we offer solutions for any application and map the entire process of Selective Laser Melting.

This knowledge was acquired under the previous company setups and names HEK GmbH, MCP HEK Tooling GmbH, MTT Technologies GmbH DQGQDOO\WRGD\6/06ROXWLRQV*PE+,QDXWXP2010 SLM Solutions GmbH was separated from the previous MTT Technologies Group. The new company structure is focused on developing innovative solutions and quality.

3D-Objekte aus feinsten MetallpulvernDas Verfahren

Beim LaserMelting-Prozess werden mittels CAD-Daten aus Metallpulvern durch 3-D-Lasertech-nologie homogene Metallteile gefertigt. Dadurch ist es mglich, eine poren- und rissfreie Struktur aufzubauen. Ziel des Verfahrens ist eine Dich-te, Festigkeit und Genauigkeit vergleichbar mit gegossenen Teilen. Die Schichtdicken betragen 0,05 bis 0,3 mm, die Toleranzen erreichen 0,02 PPXQGGLH2EHUFKHQUDXKHLWHQOLHJHQXQWHU20 m. Die im Laser Melting-Verfahren erstellten Bauteile zeichnen sich durch eine nahezu 100%-ige Dichte sowie durch homogene und konstante Material-eigenschaften aus.

'LHVHVVHKUVFKQHOOHXQGSU]LVH6FKLFKWDXIbauverfahren kann mit fast allen Metallen und bestimmten Keramikwerkstoffen angewendet werden.

Der Trend zu kleinen Losgren in der Fertigung und der Individualisierung von Bauteilen wird durch diese Technologie untersttzt.

3D objects from QHVWPHWDOSRZGHUVThe Process

The Laser Melting process generates precise and homogenous metal parts from 3 D CAD-data of computers in a layer building process without limits in design and in remarkable speed and accuracy.The objective of this procedure is com-parable with a density, resistence and accuracy of cast components. The layer thickness are 0,05 to 0,03 mm, the applied tolerances achieve 0,02 mm. and a surface roughness of less than 20 m. Due to the Laser Melting process, produced components always exhibit almost 100% of densi-ty as well as consitant and homogenous material properties.

The fast and precise method of structuring the layers can work with any metal and also certain ceramics and is supporting the industry trend to small lots and individual parts production in many market segments.
