Raue Umgebungsbedingungen stellen die höchsten Anforde-rungen an die Konstruktion der gesamten Ausrüstung. Elektri-sche Steckverbinder müssen im täglichen Einsatz zuverlässig und störungsfrei funktionieren, um einen einwandfreien Be-trieb zu gewährleisten. Der Steckverbinder für raue Umgebun-gen von Multi-Contact wird diesen Anforderungen gerecht.Die bewährte MC Kontaktlamellentechnik garantiert höchste Anschlusssicherheit mit niedrigen Übergangswiderständen und damit äusserst geringe Energieverluste sowie niedrige Steckkräfte trotz mehrerer elektrischer Kontakte.

BahntechnikIm täglichen Bahnbetrieb sind die elektrischen Steckverbinder extremen Umweltbedingungen ausgesetzt. Starke Temperatur-schwankungen (z. B. Schnee und Eis in alpinen Gebieten), hohe mechanische Belastungen, Vibrationen und Verschmut-zung dürfen die zuverlässige Strom- Signal-, Datenübertragung nicht beeinträchtigen. Multi-Contact entwickelte ein robustes Gehäuse, dessen Griff beim Öffnen selbst Hammerschlägen stand hält. Die MC Kon-takttechnologie gewährleistet selbst bei starken Vibrationen und Temperaturschwankungen eine unterbrechungsfreie Kon-taktierung. Der Abgangswinkel des Steckers von 15° verringert die mechanische Belastung des Kabels und vereinfacht das Be-tätigen der Steckverbindung.

Multi-Contact has developed a sturdy casing, the handle of which can even withstand blows from a hammer when open-ing. MC MULTILAM Technology ensures continuous contact, even in the event of strong vibration or temperature fluctua-tions. The 15° outlet angle of the plug reduces mechanical strain on the cable and simplifies actuating the connection.

MiningMulti-Contact provides reliable solutions that can withstand specific environmental conditions above and below ground, including dust and shock impacts, and thus guarantee uninter-rupted operation. Marine ApplicationsIn ports and on ships, connectors are exposed to sea water, and the salt content of the air is higher than in most other are-as.
