Derivatisierung – FAME
Die beste Lösung des Problems liegt in der Umesterung der Triglyceride mit
Natriummethanolat. Die entstehenden Fettsäure-methylester (fatty acid methyl
esters, FAMEs) lassen sich leicht mittels Gaschromatographie trennen. Die
Detektion mit dem FID ist problemlos möglich. Der leichte Anstieg der Basislinie
infolge des Temperatur- programmes stört die Quantifizierung nicht. Die meisten
Peaks sind basisliniengetrennt.!
