It has been a very busy month with Sports Day, Sports finals, Quiz bowl, Math Olympiad, Progress Reports and Parent Teacher Conferences. It is wonderful to witness the tremendous success of our students in a range of endeavors both inside and outside of school. It was a pleasure to meet with many of you during our first Parent Teacher Conferences as we strengthen our community part- nerships to ensure that every one of our students is achieving the best outcomes possible. Kind regards, Kevin Fullbrook -MS Principal Nehme Kourani -MS Deputy Principal Makerspaces updates Shaikha Al Sabah, Athba Al Enezi, Tania Al Alawi, AlJoud Al Masoud , Hashmiya Afdhli are decorating the Mak- erspace area 2017 MATH OLYMPIAD BBS was a part of the 2017 Math Olympiad held at GUST on November 11. More than 30 MS students had the chance to participate in challenging their math skills in a variety of are- as. This contest aims to pro- mote the mathematical skills of students of all levels around the world. MS Student Council Bake Sale on November 2 The middle school student council are constantly working hard to improve students’ experiences in middle school. One of their recent events is the bake sale they held on Thursday November 2. On the same day, they planned a free-dress day with the theme of “Clashing Colors”. The foods they included in the bake sale are doughnuts, which they sold for 1 K.D, and the renowned “Awar Galb” smoothie also worth 1 KD The bake sale was a great way to loosen up during a day of hard work. U14 Quiz Bowl The U14 Quiz Bowl Team represented BBS at the annu- al competition on October 21 . Congratulations on your third place win! Well done! The MS Sports Day is an annual event in which stu- dents take part in competitive sporting activities, often with the aim of winning trophies or prizes. It is a school day full of fun sports that students really love to do. The school did Sports Day to take a day break from studying. There are lots of fun games .

Marzouq Al-Ghanim, born November 3, 1968 Kuwait. He is the current speaker of the Kuwaiti National Assembly,

representing the second district. Al-Ghanim earned a BA in me-chanical engineering and worked for Boubyan Petro-chemicals before being elected to the National Assembly in 2006. Al-Ghanim considers himself an independent deputy and generally votes with the other liberal-leaning, business-man members. He is now one of the most successful people in Kuwait.
