Die Zahlen belegen es: Produkte von Carl Stahl sindweltweit gefragt. Seit Jahren gehen die Zahlen bezüg-lich Umsatz, Standorten und Mitarbeitern kontinuier-

lich nach oben. Vor allem die neunziger Jahre standen bei CarlStahl im Zeichen eines rasanten Wachstums, das bis heuteanhält. Der Umsatz stieg von 1990 bis heute von umgerechnetknapp 30 Millionen Euro auf 340,9 Millionen Euro. Mit dazubeigetragen hat eine Erweiterung der Produkt- und Dienstlei-stungspalette, die wiederum zur Erschließung neuer Märkteund Zielgruppen führte.

Durch Zukäufe und Übernahmen sowie die Gründung vonZweigwerken verzehnfachte sich die Zahl der Standorte welt-weit in den letzten vierzig Jahren. Der sprunghafte Anstiegzwischen 1972 und 1997 erklärt sich durch die Gründungzahlreicher Tochtergesellschaften im Ausland sowie in denneuen Bundesländern. Heute ist Carl Stahl mit 70 Standortenauf vier Kontinenten vertreten.

Sales figures proof that there is a strong demand for CarlStahl products all over the world. In recent yearsturnover ratios, subsidiaries and staff have been

continuously rising. Especially in the nineties the companygrew rapidly, and the growth still continues today. From 30million in 1990 the company turnover soared to 340.9 milliontoday. A wider range of products and services has contributedconsiderably to this success and also allowed the develop-ment of new markets and target groups.

The number of Carl Stahl locations worldwide multipliedtenfold in the last 40 years mainly by acquisitions andtake-overs, but also by founding new subsidiaries. The jumpbetween 1972 and 1997 is due to the foundation of many newlocations abroad but also in former East Germany. Today CarlStahl serves customers from 70 locations on four continents.
