Klinisches VorgehenVor der Behandlung Zahn mit fluoridfreierPolierpaste reinigen.Bezüglich der Kavitätenpräparation undder Versorgung der Dentinwunde geltendie allgemeinen Regeln der CompositeFüllungs-Therapie. Bei tiefen Kavitäten(Cp) pulpanahes Dentin, nachVorbehandlung mit einem CalciumHydroxid-Präparat, durch eine Glas-Ionomer-Zement Unterfüllung schützen.Ansonsten genügt eine Unterfüllung mitGlas-Ionomer-Zement. Vor dem Einlegendes Materials ist eine Trockenlegung mitKofferdam zu empfehlen.

Verwendung als Füllungsmaterial1. Nach der Präparation und Unterfüllung

Kavität sorgfältig reinigen und trocknen2. Esticid®-Gel auf die angeschrägten

Schmelzränder applizieren und 30 - 60s einwirken lassen

3. Ätzgel vollständig abspülen4. Kavität mit ölfreier Luft gut trocknen,

angeätzte Areale dürfen nicht kontami-niert werden.

5. Adhesive SC base- und cat-Flüssigkeitvorlegen und im Verhältnis 1 : 1mischen.Mischzeit: 20 sVerarbeitungszeit nach Mischende:bis 1 min 20 sAushärtezeit nach Mischende:bis 3 min 40 s (Mittlere Werte bei 23°C/73°F)

6. Angemischte Adhesive SC gleichmä-ßig aufbringen und aushärten lassen

7. Charisma® PPF im Verhältnis 1 : 1 vor-legen. Die Pasten durch wiederholtes,kräftiges Ineinanderpressen sorgfältigdurchmischen. Um eine gegenseitigeKontamination im Gebinde auszu-schließen, base- und cat-Pasten mitunterschiedlichen Spatelseiten denDosen entnehmen. Lufteinschlüssebeim Anmischen vermeiden.

8. Charisma® PPF einbringen und aushär-ten lassen. Es wird die Verwendungeiner Matrize empfohlen, die nachAblauf der Aushärtungszeit wieder ent-fernt werden kann.

Clinical procedureClean tooth first with fluoride free prophypaste. Cavity preparation and treatment ofthe cut dentin is identical to compositerestorations. Very deep cavities should betreated with calcium hydroxide followed bya Glass-Ionomer base liner. In normal sizecavities the glass ionomer cement can beplaced directly as base liner. Establish adry field, preferably with a rubber dam,prior to material placement.

For use as a filling material1. After preparation and base lining of the

cavity, clean and dry carefully.2. Apply Esticid®-Gel onto the beveled

enamel margins for 30 - 60 seconds.3. Rinse off etch gel completely.4. Blow dry with oil free air. Do not con-

taminate etched areas.5. Mix equal parts of Adhesive SC base

and catalyst.Mixing time: 20 sHandling time (after mixing):up to 1 min 20 sCuring time (after mixing):up to 3 min 40 s(Average values at 23°C/73°F).

6. Apply Adhesive SC mix evenly and letcure.

7. Mix equal parts of the Charisma® PPFpastes by kneading them togetherintensely. In order to avoid cross con-tamination of the base and catalystpastes in their containers, use differentends of the spatula to scoop out thematerials. 8. Place Charisma® PPF in the cavity andlight cure. Use matrix bands which canbe removed after the curing time haselapsed.

9. After the Charisma® PPF is completelycured, it can be trimmed and finished.For the coarse finish, use diamondburs with approximately 20 microngrain size. The fine finish and polish isbest done with fine disks, silicone cupsand points, strips and bristles.

CautionThe shade of the cured colour paste canpossibly deviate from the colour of theshade guide. The actual colour dependson the mixing ratio of the materials.Process the materials at room tempera-ture.

Safety AdviceAvoid contact with skin. In case of contactwith skin, immediately wash with plenty ofwater and soap. Avoid contact with eyes.Immediately and thoroughly rinse withplenty of water in case of contact witheyes and contact an ophthalmologist.Charisma® PPF contains monomers((meth-)acrylates), which may cause skinallergies, especially with sensitive patients.This product or one of its componentsmay in particular cases cause hypersensi-tive reactions. If suspected, information onthe ingredients can be obtained from themanufacturer.

Storage AdviceDo not use the material beyond the expirydate. Close containers immediately afteruse and store in the refrigerator, avoiddirect sun exposure. Keep away from children.

Procedura clinicaIn primal rand curatati dintele cu pastaprofilactica fara fluor.Pregatirea cavitatii si tratamentul dentineisunt identice cu restaurarea compozita.Cavitatile foarte adanci trebuie tratate cuHidroxid de Calciu urmate de un cimentde baza glass ionomer. In cavitatilenormale, cimentul “Glass ionomer” poate fiaplicat direct ca baza. Inainte de aplicareacompozitului (materialului), cavitateatrebuie foarte bine uscata.

Pentru utilizarea ca material deumplutura (restaurator):1. Dupa prepararea cavitatii si aplicarea

bazei, curatati si uscati cu grija2. Aplicati Esticid® Gel pe marginea

smaltului si lasati sa actioneze timp de 30-60 secunde

3. Clatiti cu apa urmele de gel4. Uscati foarte bine locul impiedicati

contaminarea zonei cu saliva sau altlichid

5. Amestecati Adhesive SC baza si lichidcatalizator în raport de 1:1.Timp de amestecare: 20 secundeTimp de prelucrare (dupa finalizareaamestecarii):pâna la 1 minut si 20 secunde Timp de întarire (dupa finalizareaamestecarii): pâna la 3 minute si 40 secunde(valori medii la 23°C/73°F)

6. Aplicati uniform Adhesive SC ames-tecat si lasati-l sa se întareasca

7. Adaugati Charisma® PPF în raport de1:1. Amestecati pastele prin presarerepetata, puternica în interior. Pentru a evita o contaminare reciproca înambalaj, prelevati pastele de baza sicatalizator cu laturi diferite ale spatuleidin cutii. Evitati aparitia bulelor de aerpe parcursul amestecarii.

8. Aplicati amestecul obtinut din cele douã seringi Charisma® (baza sicatalizator) si lasati sa se intareasca

9. Dupa ce Charisma® PPF s-a intaritcomplet se poate trece la finisare.Pentru aceasta se folosesc frezediamantate cu granulatie de 20microni. Dupa frezare se face poli-zarea cu discuri foarte fine, gume tipcupa sau flacara, benzi abrazive sauperii montate.

Atentie!Pentru a evita obtinerea unei nuantediferite fata de cea aleasa la inceputullucrarii din cheia de culori, trebuie sa seacorde foarte mare atentie la cantitatile de pasta Charisma® PPF (baza sicatalizator) amestecate. Raportul deamestec trebuie sa fie 1:1. Procesul deamestecare trebuie facut la temperaturacamerei.

Coditii de pastrareNu folositi materialul dupa data deexpirare. Inchideti seringa imediat dupa ce a fost folosita si tineti-o in frigider, nu o expuneti la soare. A nu se lasa laindemana copiilor.

PrecautiiEvitaţi contactul cu pielea. Dacă produsul intră în contact cu pielea, spălaţi imediat și minuţios cu apă și săpun. Evitaţi con-tactul cu ochii. Clătiţi imediat minuţios cu apă din abundenţă în cazul contactului cu ochii. În cazul simptomelor persisten-te, contactaţi un medic oftalmolog.Charisma® PPF contine monomeri (metacrilat) care pot cauza alergii ale pielii, mai ales pacientilor sensibili. Acest produs sau unul dintre componentele acestuia pot provoca reacţii alergice în cazuri particulare. Dacă se suspectează aceste reacţii, se pot obţine informaţii privind elementele componente de la producător.
