Some Facts

• Any vehicle that has been parked on a city street or highway for 72 hours or more can be reported as an abandoned vehicle.  (Parking in alleys is illegal at all times)

• LADOT operates 118 public parking facilities throughout the City of Los Angeles with more than 11,500 parking spaces.

• Traffic officers issue about 2.5 million citations each year.

Conclusion

1. Highest number of citations are in the month of August which is approx. 250000 per year.

2. Highest citations are faced during morning 8.00 am to 12 noon.

3. No Park Street Clean and Meter Expiry together contribute about 50% of total Citations every year.

4. Highest number of Citations among visitors is from State of Arizona.
