Heute sieht das Fincahotel “Ses Cases de Fetget” aus wie aus dem Ei gepellt, doch dazu wa-ren abertausende von Arbeits-stunden nötig. Ein Fotoalbum, das an der Rezeption ausliegt, vermittelt einen guten Ein-druck von dem ursprünglichen Gebäude. Das halb verfallene Bauernhaus hatte teilweise kei-ne Decken mehr und schrie geradezu nach der Abrissbirne. Stattdessen entschieden sich die mallorquinischen Eigentü-mer für eine langjährige und liebevolle Renovierung. 2006 erstrahlte das Haus dann in neuem Glanz und empfing sei-ne ersten Gäste. Diese sind nicht nur vom Service und den mo-dern eingerichteten Suiten an-getan, sondern allein schon von der außergewöhnlichen Lage. Wie viele Fincas auf Mallorca wurde “Ses Cases de Fetget” auf dem höchsten Punkt des

Grundstücks erbaut. In diesem Fall ist es ein prominenter Hü-gel, der zu allen Seiten ein ex-zellentes Paronama bietet. Vom Pool aus können Sie zum Bei-spiel bis zum Meer bei Costa de los Pinos blicken. Vielleicht fällt Ihnen auch der ökologische Ge-müsegarten des Fincahotels auf. Was hier heranwächst, landet in den Töpfen des ausgezeich-neten Restaurants. Küchenchef Tomeu Bauzá zaubert Degusta-tionsmenüs, die ihresgleichen suchen.

Fine food for the eyes and the palateToday the Finca Hotel „Ses Ca-ses de Fetget“ looks like spick and span, but this took about thous-ands of hours of work. A photo album, which you can pick at the front desk, gives a good im-pression of the original building. The half-ruined farmhouse part-

ly had no blankets left and cried out for the wrecking ball. Instead, the Majorcan owners opted for a long and loving renovation. In 2006, the house finally shone in new splendor and received its first guests. Those are not only im-pressed with the service and mo-dern suites, but also simply from the extraordinary location. Like all the Fincas of Majorca, „Ses Cases de Fetget“ was also built on the highest point of the proper-ty. In this case, it is a prominent hill, which provides an excellent paronama on all sides. From the pool you can look to the sea in Costa de los Pinos, for example. Perhaps you notice also the eco-logical vegetable garden of the Finca-hotel. What grows here, ends up in the pots of excellent restaurants. Chef Tomeu Bauza conjures tasting menus that are incomparably.

Drei Jahre lang haben Volker Zweygart und seine mallorqui-nische Frau nach dem richtigen Ort gesucht. Nahe am Meer und weitab vom Trubel sollte es stehen - das Fincahotel ih-rer Träume. Als Sie zum ersten Mal nach “El Encinar” kamen, war es Liebe auf den ersten Blick. Das Bauernhaus aus dem 18.Jahrhundert liegt am Ende einer langen Asphaltstraße, die zwischen Artá und Son Servera abzweigt. Außer dem gelegent-lichen Bimmeln und Blöken der Schafe hört man hier nichts mehr. Der ideale Ort zum Ab-schalten. Auch im Sommer, denn die Gäste können sich im Pool abkühlen oder im herrli-chen Schatten von Steineichen relaxen. Die vier über hundert-jährigen Bäume stehen dicht beieinander und haben dem Anwesen seinen Namen gege-ben. Auf “El Encinar” wachsen außerdem noch Feigen-, Pflau-

men- und Orangenbäume, die zu köstlichen Marmeladen ver-arbeitet werden. Abends sorgt die mallorquinisch-mediterra-ne Küche des Hauses für Gau-menfreuden. Ab und an wird auch ein Lamm des Nachbarn auf der Außenterrasse gegrillt. Die elf Zimmer des Fincahotels verfügen allesamt über einen eigenen Balkon bzw. Terrasse und einen eigenen Eingang. Für Privatsphäre ist in dieser Oase der Ruhe also auch ge-sorgt.

An oasis of peaceFor three years, Volker Zwey-gart and his Majorcan wife were looking for the right place. In „El Encinar“, figs, plum and oran-ge trees are still growing and are also processed into delicious jams. Evenings at the Major-can-Mediterranean cuisine of the house for treats. Now and again a lamb of the neighbors is being grilled on the outdoor terrace. The eleven rooms at the Finca hotel all have a private balcony or terrace and a private entrance. For privacy, obviously, is also taken care of in this oasis .

Die Einfahrt von Can Duvai ist leicht an den zahlreichen Skulp-turen zu erkennen, die den Be-sucher farbenfroh begrüßen. Kurt Uhl von der Höden ist Künstler und sein Fincahotel sozusagen sein Meisterwerk. Die 15 Zimmer hat er nicht nur individuell mit antiken Möbeln eingerichtet - jedes erstrahlt auch in einem anderen medi-terranen Farbton. Rustikal und gemütlich sind die Gemein-schaftsbereiche des im 16. Jahr-hundert erbauten Hauses: In der Bar mit dem riesigen Kamin und im urigen Wohnzimmer lernt man sich schnell kennen. Auf dem Couchtisch steht oft ein leckerer Kuchen des Gast-gebers und gelernten Konditors. Von der Höden lebt seit über 30 Jahren auf Can Duvai und teilt sich sein Zuhause mit zwei Hunden, zehn bis fünfzehn Kat-zen und zahlreichen Hühnern,

die für täglich frische Früh-stückseier sorgen. Wer kann, darf außerdem auf den Pferden ausreiten. Golfern geht im Can Duvai sowieso das Herz auf. Die Gäste dürfen die hoteleige-ne Driving Range nutzen; auch ein Bunker sowie ein Chipping- und Puttinggreen stehen zur Verfügung - und zwar kosten-frei. Beim Abschlag müssen Sie sich übrigens nicht zurückhal-ten. Der nächste Nachbar lebt in einem Kilometer Entfernung.

Great art and long tee offsThe entrance of Can Duvai is ea-sily recognized by the numerous sculptures which welcomes the visitor colorfully. Kurt Uhl von der Höden is an artist and his Fincahotel is, so to speak, his mas-terpiece. The 15 rooms, which he did not only decorate individu-ally with antique furniture - but each one shines in another Medi-

terranean color tone. Rustic and cozy are the common areas of the house built in the 16th Century: In the bar, with the huge firepla-ce, and in the quaint living room you will get to know each other quickly. On the coffee table there is often a delicious cake made by the host and trained pastry chef. Von der Höden lives on Can Du-vai for over 30 years and shares his home with two dogs, ten to fif-teen cats and numerous chickens, which provide fresh eggs for bre-akfast on a daily basis. A subtle lighting and plenty of art on the walls complete the skillful interior design. The rooms are heated and have a private terrace with views of the pristine landscape. The physical well-being is ensured by the long-stan-ding cook Josefa. She mainly uses fruits and vegetables from the garden for her traditional Majorcan family recipes. And in the wine cellar of the Son Gener the perfect bottle for the evening is certainly to be found.

Zum Fincahotel “Son Trobat” gehören ganze 15 Hektar Land. Dass hier nicht an Platz gespart werden musste, kommt den Gästen natürlich zugute. Der Pool und die Außenterrasse sind gigantisch - hier können die Kinder herumtollen und trotzdem findet jeder sein ru-higes Eckchen. Im großzügigen Spa-Bereich stehen den Gästen ein Jacuzzi, ein weiterer Pool so-wie eine finnische Sauna und ein Dampfbad zur Verfügung. Au-

ßerdem verwöhnt die erfahrene Therapeutin Frauke Büchner die Gäste mit Düften, Klängen und Massagen. Die 22 Zimmer des 2001 eröffneten Landhotels sind ebenfalls geräumig und mit Du-sche und Bad ausgestattet.
