Aber noch viel mehr: Damit lässt sich modernes Marketing gestalten, welches auf den Verbraucheranspruch von Verantwortung, Gerechtigkeit und Umweltschutz eingeht.Mit dieser Broschüre zeigen wir Ihnen, welche Aussteller auf der Paperworld 2015, der Creativeworld 2015 und der Christmas-world 2015 über ein FSC-Zertifikat verfügen und FSC-zertifi-zierte Produkte liefern können. Die Datenbank mit weltweit allen FSC-Zertifikatsinhabern finden Sie unter info.fsc.org.

Seit Dezember 2014 sind weltweit knapp 184 Millionen Hektar Wald in mehr als 80 Ländern und rund 49.000 Unternehmen durch 28.000 COC-Zertifikate in der Produktkette zertifiziert. Mehr als 500 Endkundenhändler nutzen die FSC-Warenzeichen in Milliarden-Auflage und sorgen für mehr Bekanntheit des FSC-Zeichens. This brochure may help you if you are looking for paper, handi-craft products and writing utensils from responsible forestry. By the help of the FSC logo, you get orientation for purchases of FSC certified products. Furthermore, it serves for modern mar-keting which satisfies customers’ needs for responsibility, equity and protection of the environment.These Green Pages give an overview of the FSC certified ex-hibitors, who are present at the Paperworld 2015, the Creative-world 2015 and Christmasworld 2015 and can provide FSC cer-tified products. An overall list of FSC certified companies can be found at info.fsc.org.Since December 2014 there are nearly 184 million hectares of certified forest in more than 80 countries. More than 49.000 companies in the supply chain are certified by more than 28.000 COC certificates. Was den FSC® einmalig macht

Nur der FSC steht für:

3 Einheitlichkeit: Die Kontrollen sind überall gleich. Weltweit gelten dieselben 10 Prinzipien und 56 Kriterien. Diese sind Grundlage eines jeden nationalen FSC-Standards. 3 Interessensausgleich: Wirtschaftliche, soziale und Umweltinteressen haben gleiches Gewicht. 3 Glaubwürdigkeit: Der FSC wird als einziges Zertifizierungssystem weltweit von allen großen Umweltverbänden unterstützt (u.a. WWF, Greenpeace, BUND, NABU). 3 Jährliche Prüfung: Ein FSC-Zertifikat wird erst nach erfolgreicher Vor-Ort-Prüfung eines Forstbetriebes vergeben und jährlich vor Ort kontrolliert. 3 Bürgerbeteiligung: Bei der Zertifizierung werden lokale Interessens vertreter beteiligt. Vorgebrachte Kritik wird im Forstbetrieb überprüft. 3 Transparenz: Die jährlichen Prüfberichte jedes Forstbetriebs und entsprechende Auflagen sind öffentlich. 3 Ökologie: FSC-Forstbetriebe in Deutschland orientieren sich an der natürlichen Waldgesellschaft, verwenden keine Chemie im Wald, sichern Biotop- und Totholz und leisten einen aktiven Beitrag zum Artenschutz. 3 Kontrollierte Quellen: In FSC-zertifizierten Mix-Produkten findet sich kein Holz aus illegalem Einschlag oder von gentechnisch veränderten Bäumen. Schäden an Wäldern mit hohen Schutzwerten und Waldumwandlung werden vermieden.

Why is FSC a unique system?

Only the FSC stands for:

3 Uniformity: FSC is consistent - worldwide. Audits follow the same rules. Globally the same 10 principles and 56 criteria are applied. They form the basis for every national FSC-standard. 3 Balance of interests: Economical, social and environmental interests are weighted equally. 3 Credibility: The FSC is the only certification system worldwide that is supported by all the relevant environmental organizations such as WWF, Greenpeace etc. 3 Annual Audit: The FSC-certificate is issued only after an on-site-inspection in the forest management unit and is re-audited annually. 3 Participation: Local stakeholders are involved in the certification process. Submitted claims are reassessed in the forest operation. 3 Transparency: Each annual audit report of every forest management unit and corresponding corrective action requests are published. 3 Ecology: FSC-certified forest enterprises conserve rare and endangered species, promote non-chemical methods of pest management and do not use genetically modified trees. 3 Controlled Sources: In FSC-certified MIX products wood from illegal logging, conversion of natural forests and genetically modified trees and damage to high conservation values is effectively avoided. Wood from logging activities that violate traditional and civil rights is also avoided.

Für den ökologischen Rucksack eines Produktes ist nicht nur das Produkt an sich, sondern zunehmend auch die Verpa-ckung von Bedeutung. Materialeinsparung und Verwendung von Recyclingmaterial und zertifizierten Bestandteilen sind dabei wichtige Elemente. Mittlerweile sind 20% aller FSC-zertifizierten Unternehmen in der Verpackungsbranche tätig. Auch im Bereich der Lebensmittelverpackungen spielen nach-haltige faserbasierte Verpackungen eine immer wichtigere Rolle und werden zunehmend nachgefragt. Erstmals wird sich der FSC Deutschland auf der Anuga FoodTec präsentieren.

Die Anuga FodTec ist eine globale Leitmesse und ein wich-tigster Impulsgeber für die internationale Lebensmittel- und Getränkeindustrie. Vom 24.03. bis 27.03.2015 werden wir vom FSC Deutschland mit einem Stand vor Ort sein, den wir in Zusammenarbeit mit FSC Niederlande und unter der Schirm-herrschaft des Deutschen FSC-Verpackungsausschusses or-ganisieren.

For the ecological ruck-sack of a product not only the product itself, but also the packaging material

gains more and more importance. The packaging sector is currently an innovation and growth sector. Material saving and use of recycled materials and certified components are im-portant elements. Meanwhile, 20 % of all FSC certified com-panies are active in the packaging sector. Sustainable fiber-based packaging plays an important role in food packaging and its importance is expected to increase even more. For the first time FSC Germany will be present at the Anuga FoodTec in Cologne.

As a leading global trade fair, Anuga FoodTec is an important source of inspiration for the international food and beverage industry. From 24th of March until 27th of March 2015 FSC Germany will have a booth at the fair that we organize in cooporation with FSC Netherlands and under the patronage of the German FSC Packaging Committee.

Überwachung der KennzeichnungDie zugelassenen Zertifizierer des FSC überwachen die ordnungsgemäße Verwendung des FSC-Logos mit Angabe der Lizenznummer auf Produkten. Zusätzlich wird sicherge-stellt, dass die jeweilige FSC-Kennzeichnung, die aus dem Rohstoff einsatz hervorgeht, auf dem Produkt verwendet wird.

Überwachung der Werbung mit dem FSC-ZeichenIn Werbematerialien wie Katalogen dürfen Verarbeiter und Händler mit einer eigenen Nummer für FSC-zertifizierte Pro-dukte werben.

FSC 100%: Das Holz dieses Produktes stammt ausschließlich aus FSC-zertifiziertem Wald. Das Holz muss von nicht-zertifiziertem stets getrennt gelagert, gehandelt und verarbeitet werden. Eine Vermischung darf nicht stattfinden.

FSC Mix: Bei der Produktion wurde Holz aus FSC-zertifizierten Wäldern, kontrollierten Quel-len und Recyclingmaterial verwendet. FSC-zertifiziertes Material oder Post-Consumer-Recycling wird entweder zu mindestens 70% eingesetzt oder es wird eine mindestens äqui-valente Menge im Prozess verwendet, um die gekennzeichneten Waren herzustellen.

FSC Recycling: Für dieses Produkt wurde ausschließlich Gebrauchtholz oder Altpapier verwendet. Das Material muss seinen Einsatz-zweck erfüllt haben - beispielsweise ein Maga-zin, welches über den Haushaltsabfall wieder eingesammelt wurde.


Vom Wald ins Büro

Überprüfung des ForstbetriebesUnabhängige Zertifizierer überprüfen jährlich im Forstbetrieb, ob die FSC-Standards eingehalten und umgesetzt werden. Das FSC-Zertifikat erhalten nur verantwortungsvoll bewirt-schaftete Wälder, die nach den Umwelt-, Wirtschafts- und So-zialstandards des FSC geprüft wurden.

Kontrolle der Verarbeiter und HändlerUnabhängige Zertifizierer überprüfen im Verarbeitungsbetrieb oder beim Händler, ob die FSC-Standards eingehalten und umgesetzt werden. Ist dies der Fall, erhält das Unternehmen das FSC-Zertifikat. Nur Holz oder Holzprodukte aus überprüf-ten Unternehmen dürfen mit dem FSC-Siegel gekennzeichnet werden.

From forest to offices

Audit of the forest operationIndependent certifiers verify annually that the forest opera-tion adheres to and implements the FSC certification require-ments. Only responsibly managed forests, which are FSC-certified according to the environmental, economic and social standards, will receive the FSC certificate.

Audit of manufacturers and retailersIndependent certifiers verify if the standards are observed and implemented by the manufacturer or retailer. If this applies, the company achieves the FSC-certificate. Only certified com-panies have the right to label FSC products.

Monitoring of the labelingThe accredited certifiers of FSC monitor and approve the cor-rect use of the FSC-labels with the license code on products. Only such products are labeled that meet the requirements in relation to the input of raw materials coming from well- managed forests, controlled sources or recycling.

Monitoring of advertising with the FSC labelIn advertising material such as catalogues, manufacturers and retailers are only allowed to advertise using their own number.

FSC 100%: This product contains 100% ma-terial from FSC-certified forests. The wood has to be strictly separated from non-certified material in storage, processing and trade. No mixing is allowed.

FSC Mix: To manufacture this product timber from well-managed FSC certified forests, con-trolled wood avoiding unacceptable practices as well as reclaimed material has been used. In the production the input of FSC certified or re-claimed material or a combination of both was at least 70% or an aquivalent input amount was purchased to produce this labelled product.

FSC Recycling: This product contains only recycled fibres. The used material must have served its purpose.
