VGB-FachtaGunG GasturBinen und GasturBinenBetrieB 2013Im Zweijahresrhythmus werden Betreiber, Hersteller, Versicherer, Behörden und Experten des R&D-Bereiches vom VGB PowerTech e.V. dazu eingeladen, durch Vorträge und umfassende Diskussion aktueller Fragen zur Gasturbine und dem Gasturbinenbetrieb den Erfahrungs-, Erkenntnis- und Gedankenaustausch zu intensivieren. Mit Präsenz unserer zahlreichen Kooperationspartner aus der Gasturbinenindustrie wird ein Veranstaltungsrahmen geboten, der als internationales Forum für Herstellung und Erweiterung geschäftlicher wie persönlicher Kontakte beste Voraussetzungen schafft.Beachtliche Fortschritte in der Forschung und Entwicklung haben dazu geführt, dass die Gasturbine als Kernkomponente von effizienten und emissionsarmen Kombianlagen sowie als Antrieb von Spitzenlastanlagen und Verdichterstationen eine hohe Attraktivität erlangt hat. Wirkungsgrad der Gasturbine und Lebensdauer der hochbeanspruchten Komponenten wurden und werden insbesondere durch Verbesserung der Werkstoffe, der Kühltechnik und Wärme-dämmung sowie des Korrosionsschutzes der Heißgasteile, der aerodynamischen Auslegung der Beschaufelung von Verdichter und Turbine und der Prozessgestaltung in beachtlichen Entwicklungsschrit-ten verbessert. Ein wachsender Anteil der Stromerzeugung aus regenerativen Quellen mit großer Schwankungsbreite erfordert Gasturbinen mit hohem Wirkungsgrad bei Teillast, die bei Erfüllung von Zuverlässig-keits- und Verfügbarkeitsanforderungen sowie verminderten Emissionen für hohe Lastwechselzyklen und hohe Lastwechsel-gradienten geeignet sind. Globale Entwicklungen im Primärenergie-markt und dem Europäischen Erdgasmarkt mit zunehmenden Schwankungen der Erdgaszusammensetzung durch LNG-Varianten und zu erwartende Befrachtung der Erdgasströme im Verteilungsnetz mit regenerativ erzeugtem Wasserstoff erfordern neue Brennkammer-konzepte.Die Volatilität regenerativer Erzeugungsanteile und eine abnehmende Residuallast haben anspruchsvollere Anforderungen des Übertra-gungsnetzbetreibers für die Bereitstellung von Primär- und Sekundär-regelleistung sowie Minutenreserve und Schwarzstartfähigkeit zur Folge. Im Kontext mit dem erweiterten Anforderungsportfolio für die stationäre Gasturbine stehen Fragen zur Konsolidierung der Lebenszykluskosten, der Betriebsweise, Instandhaltung und funktionalen Sicherheit im Fokus kraftwerkstechnischer Diskussionen.Der VGB PowerTech e.V. lädt Sie zur Diskussion dieser Themen und zum Erfahrungsaustausch auf der VGB-Fachtagung „Gasturbinen und Gasturbinenbetrieb 2013“ ein und freut sich auf Ihre Teilnahme.

VGB conFerence Gas turBines and operation oF Gas turBines 2013Every two years, VGB PowerTech e.V. invites plant operators, manufacturers, insurers, authorities and experts in the R&D field to intensify the exchange of experience, knowledge and ideas through presentations and extensive discussion of current issues relating to gas turbines and the operation of gas turbines. With many of our numerous co-operative partners from the gas turbine industry present, an event framework is provided that as an international forum creates the best environment for the development and extension of both business and personal contacts. Noteworthy advances in research and development have led to gas turbines achieving a high degree of attractive-ness both as core components of efficient, low-emission multi-function facilities and as drive systems for peak load systems and compressor stations. The efficiency of gas turbines and the lifetime of the highly loaded components have been and are being improved in considerable development stages, in particular by improving the materials, cooling technology, thermal insulation, hot gas component corrosion protection, aerodynamic design of the compres-sor and the turbine, and process design. The increasing share of power generation from renewable energy sources with high fluctuations requires Gas Turbines with a high part- load- efficiency and comply with suitable reliability- and availability- requirements as well as reduced emissions for high load cycles and high load gradients. Global developments in the primary energy market and the European gas market with increasing fluctuations in the natural gas composition through LNG-variations and the expected supplementation of the gas in the distribution network with regenerative produced hydrogen fuel requires new combustion concepts.The volatility of renewable generated energy and a decreasing residual load requires a more exact demand- specification from the transmission system operator for the provision of primary and secondary control as well as minute reserve and black start capacity.In the context with the enlarged requirement portfolio for power-plant- Gas Turbines questions regarding the consolidation of the “Lifecycle-costs”, the operational mode, maintenance and functional safety are prioritized during power- plant- discussions.VGB PowerTech e.V. invites you for discussing of these questions and to the exchange of experiences during the VGB Conference „Gas Turbines and Operation of Gas Turbines 2013“, and is looking forward to your participation.Essen, March 2013
