Das Skigebiet Schnalstal, das als zuverlässig schnee-sicher gilt, ist von Herbst bis zum Frühsommer Tum-melplatz für Skiläufer, Snowboarder und Freestyler, die das kleine Skidorf Kurzras bevölkern. Auch viele bekannte Gesichter aus der Welt des Sports – Ski al-pin und Langlauf – kann man hier beim Höhentraining auf dem Gletscher erleben. Abseits der Piste erfreut man sich mit Schneeschuhen und Tourenskiern an der Bergwelt Südtirols, die sich im Schnalstal noch in ihrer Ursprünglichkeit erhalten hat.

L’area sciistica del ghiacciaio della Val Senales è caratterizzata da sicuro innevamento da autunno a primavera inoltrata. This ski area stands for guaranteed snow conditions; from fall to early summer, it becomes a playground for skiers, snowboarders, and freestylers. During altitude-training sessions on the glacier, it is even possible to encounter famous faces from the sporting world – both Alpine and cross-country skiers. You can also enjoy off-piste snowshoeing and ski touring in the mountain world of South Tyrol, whose original beauty has been exquisitely preserved in Senales Valley.

Die auf- oder untergehende Sonne, Wetter- und Wolkenschauspiele erhalten in dieser Höhe einen ganz anderen Stellen-wert, während man im Warmen dem Schauspiel gespannt folgt. Alpinen Flair genießt man in unseren neu gestalteten Zimmern „Familiensuite“ und „Pano-ramaview“. Hier haben wir besonderen Wert auf natürliche Materialien wie Holz und Filz aus Südtirol gelegt. La Val Senales e il ghiacciaio sono proprio ai vostri piedi, basta dare uno sguardo al panorama che si può godere dalla camera. L’alba o il tramonto, le nuvole, i fenomeni meteorologici a quest’altitudine assumono una veste del tutto particolare, potete seguire lo spettacolo offerto della natura dal caldo ambiente del nostro albergo. Il tipico stile alpino caratterizza le due camere rinnovate di recente, la “Suite familiare” e la “Camera con vista panoramica”. Qui abbiamo posto l’accento sull’utilizzo di materiali naturali come il legno e il feltro provenienti dall’Alto Adige. Tutte le camere sono dotate di bagno con doccia, Tv, telefono e cassaforte. Asciuga-capelli su richiesta, connessione Wi-Fi a pagamento.

You can admire the scenic view of the Senales Glacier or the idyllic Senales Valley through the wide win-dows of your double room. At these heights, sunrise and sunset have a different effect as does the spectacular mountain climate, which you can enjoy from the comfort of your room. When refurbishing the Family Suite and the Panorama View rooms, we chose natural materials such as wooden finishes and felt cloth from South Tyrol, to create a genuine Alpine atmosphere. Ihr Fahrzeug können Sie auf dem Autoab-stellplatz in Kurzras direkt neben der Talstation kostenfrei abstellen, um mit der Gletscherbahn und Ihrem Gepäck auf 3.212 m.ü.M. zu schweben. Beach-ten Sie bitte, dass die letzte Bergfahrt um 16:30 Uhr stattfi ndet.Wichtig: Personen mit Bluthochdruck sollten vor der Anreise einen Arzt konsultieren.

Appena lasciata la vostra auto vi immergerete imme-diatamente nel mondo montano altoatesino. Potrete parcheggiare la macchina direttamente alla partenza delle Funivie Ghiacciai a valle, e con la funivia salire comodamente con i bagagli fi no ai 3.212 metri.Ricordate che l’ultima salita in funivia é alle ore 16.30. Importante: Le persone con problemi di pressione alta dovrebbero consultare il medico prima dell’arrivo.

You need to part with your car before you can get into the South Tyrolean mountains: You can leave your car at the parking lot in Maso Corto/Kurzras directly next to the base station, and ride, along with your baggage, to 3,212 m above sea level using the Val Senales Glacier Cable Car.Please note that the last ride to the top is at 4:30 p.m.Important: Persons with high blood pressure should consult a physician prior to arrival.
