    1898: Cover, some minor ageing, mailed to Solesmes / France franked on reverse with 18974 c. on 4 cs. rose-pink in a horizontal pair and 1897 1 c. on 3 c. red revenue in a marginalhorizontal pair all tied by extremely rare "HANGCHOW" Dollar chops in black, the redrevenue pair being tied by "Shanghai" Dollar chop of transit (July 1). Obverse of coverwith 'Chine' overprinted France 25 c. black on rose appplied for onwards transmission anda superb impression of the "HANGCHOW" Dollar chop.
