  • Preparation phase (Applicants) (2/3)

    • Applicants (in PP – My area – My projects): • Check GA provisions:

    • Identify banking details to be used in the GA • Grant data (budget, duration, beneficiaries, ..) are defined according to the initial proposal and its

evaluation. • Reporting periods - standard duration 18 months (any change needs to be consulted with PO) • Pre-financing - normally average EU funding of a period (if GA with 2 or more RP)

    • Prepare Annex 1 – Description of Action:

    • Part A: work packages, deliverables and milestones directly in SYGMA • Part B: upload it as pdf – Based on part B of the proposal • Avoid overlaps between Part A & B – Workplan tables should only be in Part A • If applicable, implement the results of the ethics review • If applicable, implement the results of the security scrutiny

Prepare Annex 2 – Budget table

  • Signature of the grant agreement

No new Executive Agencies (EA) – using the current six

Coherent portfolio of programmes to be managed by each EA

Develop Executive Agencies of manageable size

No Commission’s legacy delegated to EAs Only some policy actions are kept "in-house"

  • … Impact on the Commission

Constraint: • Keep overall budget neutrality

Means: • Increased EAs staffing to be compensated

by a decrease of Commission staff

  • H2020 Budget breakdown
