Ti aspettano circa 10 chilometri di single trail perfetti, che si snodano dalla malga “Stern Alm” attraverso il bo-sco e passando per la pista della Coppa del Mondo arrivano alla stazione a valle. Principianti e professionisti possono migliorare le proprie abilità nel Pumptrack e se qualcuno ha un guasto, deside-ra una bibita rinfrescante o ha bisogno di una bici a noleggio con l’attrezzatura, troverà ciò che cerca nel nuovo Bike Center.

ZETTERSFELD - La terrazza solarium di Lienz. Oltre il limite del bo-sco, a circa 1.800 m, si estendono ampi alpeggi e prati fioriti. Siamo alle porte del Parco Nazionale Hohe Tauern, punto di partenza per tante belle escursioni in famiglia. Hot Spot n. 1 è il Parco per fami-glie Zettersfeld, seguito dal gioiello della natura, i laghi alpini “Neu-alplseen”. Concediti una pausa durante l‘escursione nei numerosi rifugi, rifocillati con le prelibatezze locali e goditi la vista panoramica delle Dolomiti di Lienz.

ZETTERSFELD – the Sun Terrace of Lienz. Above the tree line, at an altitude of around 1,800m, there is extensive Alpine terrain and blooming flower meadows. This is the gateway to the Hohe Tauern National Park, a starting point for lots of beautiful family walks. Hot-spot no. 1 is the Zettersfeld Family Park, followed by the natural treasure of the Neualplseen lakes. Take a break from walking in one of the many mountain lodges, top up your energy with a delicious local treat and savour the impressive panoramic views of the Lienz Dolomites.

ZETTERSFELD - Die Sonnenterrasse von Lienz

Oberhalb der Waldgrenze, auf etwa 1.800 m, erstrecken sich weite Almböden und blühende Bergwiesen. Es ist das Tor zum Nationalpark Hohe Tauern und besticht als Ausgangs-punkt für viele schöne Familienwanderungen. Hot Spot Nr. 1 ist der Familienpark Zettersfeld, gefolgt von dem Natur-juwel Neualplseen. Lege eine Wanderpause in den zahlrei-chen Hütten ein, stärke dich mit heimischen Köstlichkeiten und genieße den beeindruckenden Panoramablick in die Lienzer Dolomiten.

Von der Bergstation des Doppelsessellift H2 geht es ent-lang der Wiese (im Winter Skipiste) bergwärts in Richtung Hubertusteich. Beim Speicherteich beginnt der sogenannte „Märchensteig“. Den Markierungen folgend taucht man in einen unberührten, märchenhaften Wald ein. Nach halber Strecke, auf ca. 1.780 m, trifft man auf einen netten Unter-stand, ehe man wieder im tiefen Wald entschwindet bis man kurz vor der Hochsteinhütte auf freies Gelände kommt.

Märchensteig verso il rifugio Hochsteinhütte. Dalla stazione in cima della seggiovia H2 si procede lungo il prato (in inverno pista da sci) in salita, in direzione Hubertusteich. Al laghetto „Hubertusteich“ inizia il cosiddetto „Märchensteig“. Seguendo i cartelli ci si immerge in un bosco da favola incontaminato. A metà percorso, a circa 1.780 m, si incontra un bel rifugio, prima di scomparire di nuovo nel bosco profondo, fino a quando poco prima dell‘Hochsteinhütte si ritorna al terreno aperto.

Fairy-tale trail up to the Hochsteinhütte. From the mountain sta-tion of the H2 double chair lift, the route passes through a meadow (on the winter ski-piste) uphill towards the Hubertusteich. The so-called ‘fairy-tale trail’ sets off from this reservoir. Following the signs guides you into an untouched fairy-tale forest. Around half way along the route at approx. 1,780 m, you will come across a pleasant shelter before disappearing into the depths of the forest which opens out into open terrain just before arriving at the Hochsteinhütte.

Start ist bei der Bergstation der Steinermandl-Sesselbahn. Von dort aus geht es einige Meter über einen Steig zu den be-kannten Steinmandln. Dem Lienzer Höhenweg folgend steigt man einige Höhenmeter hinab bis zu einem kleinen Moorsee. Anschließend geht es den Hang entlang und gegen Ende der Runde über den Weg, der sich nun an den Verlauf der Skipiste hält, vorbei an der Faschingalmbahn, zurück zum Ausgangs-punkt. Entlang der Strecke erhält man Informationen über das Leben der Murmeltiere auf fünf Tafeln, die gleichzeitig als Wegweiser dienen und mit ein bisschen Glück kann man Murmeltiere auch in freier Wildbahn beobachten.

Il sentiero delle marmotte. Si parte dalla stazione in cima della seg-giovia Steinermandl. Da qui si procede per alcuni metri su un sentie-ro fino ai rinomati Steinmandln (omini di pietra). Seguendo “Lienzer Höhenweg” si sale per alcuni metri di dislivello fino a un piccolo lago morenico. Successivamente si prosegue lungo il pendio e verso la fine del giro si prende il sentiero che segue la pista di sci passando per l’impianto Faschingalmbahn e si ritorna al punto di partenza. Lungo il sentiero si trovano tante informazioni sulla vita delle marmotte nei cin-que pannelli che fungono anche da segnavia e, con un po’ di fortuna, si possono ammirare anche le marmotte nel loro habitat.

Marmot Circular Trail. This route sets out from the mountain station of the Steinermandl chair lift. From here, it follows a short climb up to the famous Steinmandln. Following the Lienzer Höhenweg, the route climbs a few metres of altitude down to a small moorland lake. It then follows the slope along and close to the end of the circuit, runs along the trail by the ski piste, past the Faschingalmbahn chairlift and back to the start. Information is provided on five panels along the route about the life of marmots. These panels also serve as signposts and with a bit of luck, you might even see the marmots in the wild!
