What is Plantar Fasciitis?

Plantar Fasciitis is an inflammation of the connective tissue (plantar

fascia) extending from the heel to the ball of the foot. Symptoms include

heel pain when taking first steps in the morning or after sitting. The sharp

pain gradually disappears with continued walking or activity but returns

each day.
