The Outpatient Ambulatory Surgery Center is situated in the perimeter of city’s urban nucleus, in an area characterized by existing public facility buildings: a Primary School and a Central Police Station. The building was conceived with an L typology, with two wings, one assigned to surgery spaces (fronting the main access to the city) and the other with the emergency attention and staff areas (facing existing public facility buildings). The remaining open space at the center of the plot was treated as a public park, therefore our new building is easily accessible from the city by a friendly pedes¬trian path.
