� Mit Großmutters Eisenherd hat die Kücheninsel 'Minà' nur noch das Material und ein Erinnern an die ver-meintlich guten alten Zeiten gemein. Doch wer möchte heute wirklich noch sein Wasser im Herd warm ma-chen? Nein, hinter dem Retro-Look aus mattrauh pulverbeschichtetem schwarzen Stahl und knallrot lackier-ten Bedienrädern steckt hochmoder-ne Küchentechnik. Die etwas andere Kücheninsel mit satten 278 x 128 x 92 cm Umfang sorgte auf der Euro-cucina für Gesprächsstoff. In einer beispielhaften Konfiguration aus Einzelmodulen von 70 oder 105 cm Breite und 92 cm Höhe mit umlau-fender Reling und speziellem Guß-stein in Terrakotta, Weiß, Grau, Blau oder Grün. Für die Hochschränke empfehlen sich klare Kontraste: bei-spielsweise die sägerauhen Fronten des 'natural skin'-Programms.

But is there anybody today who would like to heat water in a stove? So you will find state-of-the art kitchen technology behind the retro-look flair of the matt-rough powder-coated black steel sur-face and the control wheels lacquered in glaring red. It’s a kitchen island with a difference and with generous di-mensions, namely 278 x 128 x 82 cm. And it was much talked about at Eurocucina, where it was presented in an exemplary configuration com-posed of individual modules of 70 or 105 cm width and 82 cm height, with a surrounding railing and made of a special kind of cast stone in terracot-ta, white, grey, blue or green. For the high cabinets clear contrasts are re -commended, for instance the rough-sawn fronts of the ‘natural skin' range.
