    Project Description

    The celebration of the couples love and commitment will be honored with

    a traditional themed wedding in Islamabad on 9th June 2011. The

    wedding will have a budget of Rs. 2 million which will include the wedding

    ceremony and launch buffet for reception. Mehrs Door will assume the

    role of planner, facilitator, mediator, money manager, creative director

    and organizer of all parties concerned.

    Critical Success factors

    The success of this project will be determined by the following criteria:

    Initial plans reviewed and agreed upon by the Stake Holders.

    All timelines followed and deadlines met.

    Minimum disruption in the execution of all plans

    Project executed within/under budget

    Desired results delivered to client

    The success of this project will be monitored by ongoing status meetings as

    necessary.

    Project Scope

    Project Objectives:

    To plan and design a traditional wedding in Islamabad i.e. Mehndi on 8th

    June and Barat on 9th June, 2011 with 250 guests on Mehndi and 400

    guests on Barat.

    Deliverables:

    Decide venue according to the clients.

    Venue decoration (traditional theme)

    Printing of wedding cards will be provided to invite the guests.

    Catering services will be provided.

    We provide Pakistani, continental and Chinese food. Menu will be

    decided according to the clients choice.

    We will provide beautifully decorated Mehndi thaals and doli/palki.

    Floor seating arrangement is provided on Mehndi and round table

    arrangement for guests on Barat.

    Lightening for decorating the venue and sound system with Dj is

    also provided.

    Milestones:

    Venue must be finalized by 25th April,2011

    Wedding cards to be ordered by 10th May and collected by 20th

    May,2011.

    Booking with photographer must be done by 21st May.

    Dishes for both the events should be finalized by 25th May.

    Order for flowers, mehndi thaals and doli/palki should be placed by

    1st June.

    Catering arrangements to be done by 6:00pm on both days (Mehndi,

    Barat). Be fixed by

    Stages on both days to be fixed by 4:00pm.

    Sound system and lightening to be done by 6:00pm on both days.

    Arrangement of pan wala on Mehdi.

    Officant (imam) will be available for Nikkah.

    Limits & Exclusions:

    Bids and sweets are not provided on Barat.

    Security will not be given on both the functions.

    No transportation.

    Technical requirements:

    Generators will be provided to tackle load-shedding problem.

    Electricians will be part of our team to take care of sound system

    and lightening arrangements.
