General information:Michael Byram is Professor Emeritus, Durham University and author of theModel of Intercultural Communicative Competence (1997), which was
developed and used as the basis for training ICC in Foreign LanguageTeaching by the European Council. Hence, the model is also used in theKernlehrpläne and serves us as a basis for teaching ICC.
