ORIENTATION PROGRAM FOR BATCH 2019!23Hawan ceremony followed by orienta on programme

was conducted. New entrants witnessed sanc ty

of “Deeksharambh” and pledged to receive value

oriented shiksha. Ins tute director Dr. Rishi Goel

introduced the faculty members and highlighted

the esteem choice based teaching profession earns.

Students from more than twenty states congregated

to celebrate the fes ve spirit of star ng a new phase

in their lives along with the enthusias c parents

who witnessed the incep on of a responsible career

oriented phase in the lives of their wards. During

the orienta on programme, the faculty members

introduced the freshers about the structure of 4

year Integrated Program and the code of conduct

established by the ins tu on.

FIVE DAYS PRE!INTERNSHIP WORKSHOP

Workshop was organized specially to achieve the

best of readiness for real school experience as

an intern. During these fi ve days, various areas

were discussed viz: Core teaching Skills, Wri ng

Instruc onal Objec ves, Pedagogical Content

Analysis, Wri ng Learning Outcome, Process Skills,

Cri cal Observa ons and giving feed- back, Planning

for crea ng Learning Situa on, ICT Integra on,

beau ful closing ceremony organized by the student

teachers and fi nally commended by the Director of

RUN FOR FIT INDIA MOVEMENT

Fit India Movement launched by the revered prime

minister of India and organized in ins tute to promote

physical ac vity and reduce lifestyle related health

issues. Youth of Ins tute spread this awareness by

par cipa ng in marathon around Kaimalgarg near

college. Around 150 students par cipated in the 2 KM

run at Kamalgarh road and Madhu (3rd year), Supriya

(2nd year) and Roma (4th year) secure fi rst, second

and third posi on in girls whereas Ajay (1st year),

Hemant (2nd year) and Akshya (2nd year) secure fi rst,

second and third posi on in boys. This program was

organized by 5th semester students and coordinated

by Dr. Lokendra Kumar Ojha and Shri Rajesh Yadav.

PLANTATION

A planta on drive to make the campus green and

to inculcate environmental values in students was

conducted at Ins tute on 4th September 2019.

Worthy director Dr Rishi Goel laid emphasis on

ownership of plants by growers and develop bond

with nature. Mr. Manoj Goyal branch manager of

HDFC Jhajjar promised to sponsor tree guards on this

occasion. Faculty members and nearly 140 students

par cipated in this event. Shri Ballaram Gurjar

coordinated the program.

TEACHER’S DAY CELEBRATION The teacher's day was celebrated with fervour and

enthusiasm in ins tute. Dr. Rishi Goel the worthy

director of ins tute averred that teachers should

introspect and revisit cultural heritage of India that

reveres knowledge, character and social

responsibility above all as hallmarks of a teacher.

WORKSHOP ON CHEMSKTECH

Three days workshop was organized during 12,13

and 16 Sept. 2019 and 18-19 Sept 2019 by Dr.

Lokendra Kumar Ojha, Assistant Professor, Chemistry

for B.Sc. B.Ed. fi rst year students CBZ and PCM group

respec vely to understand the chemsketch so ware.

This so ware is widely used in research and helpful

in draw the structure of compound and calculate

the proper es of compound. In addi on to that it

is also useful to show the 3D structure of molecule.

Chemsketch is also helpful to understand the

stereochemistry of organic compounds and relevant

with the contents of organic chemistry of fi rst year.

CAMPUS DRIVE BY SANSKARAM SCHOOL

Prarambh SIASTE seventh semester students

were part of placement drive of Sanskaram School

conducted at the premises on 16th Sept 2019. The

applicants were given wri! en test to measure their

ap tude, confi dence, general knowledge and basics

of the related subjects along with items on language

profi ciency.

The ini a ve was designed to provide job to fresh

graduates and spearheaded by the visionary

enterprise of the director Dr. Rishi Goel and supervised

by Dr. N. Rohen Meetei. In future, more educa onal

ins tu ons are expected to recruit students in on-

campus recruitment exercises.

WON SILVER MEDAL

Haryana State Inter College Badminton Championship

2019 took place at C. R.A College, Sonipat from 20th

to 23rd September 2019. Badminton Team manager,

Mrs. Monika Choudhry told that the boys’ team

clinched silver medal and cash prize of 15000 along

with cita on. The technique and skill of boys were

especially appreciated by guest of honour Dr. B.K.

Garg and seconded by SDM Sonipat Sh. Vijay Singh

Malik. The director of the ins tu on Dr. Rishi Goel

commended the eff orts of the team and urged

students to play at least one game to maintain

physical fi tness and increase agility.

EDUCATIONAL TRIP TO ICAR!CIFE, ROHTAKStudents of 5th Semester B.Sc. B.Ed. (CBZ) of ins tute

visited to ICAR-CIFE (Indian Council of Agricultural

Research - Central Ins tute of Fisheries Educa on)

Lahli, Rohtak with mentors Mr. Vijay Sharma (Zoology

Dept.) and Mr. Satpal (Botany Dept.). Group met

one of scien sts of this pres gious Ins tute. He

introduced himself and ICAR-CIFE with briefi ngs

about pisciculture. Ph.D. Scholor Mr. Abhishek

of CIFE, Mumbai defi ned diff erent methods and

techniques used in pisciculture. The main focus of

their research was on “Vanamei”. Students also

learned about culturing of various types of fi shesof

diff erent states. The en re trip was successful under

the guidance of Dr. Harekrishna (Offi ce In-Charge),

Head of ICAR-CIFE, Rohtak.
