    We have moved i n to th e house in L i t c h f i e l d Minnesota, which i s to be o ur home u n tWith the owner leaving al l her things at our disposal, we have many things to use thab e f o r e .

    John and James have started to school. They found i t rather different in the begthings a l i t t l e disconcerting. But James soon made himself at home coming in about tha new f r iend . When asked h is name, he d i d n t know.

    After speaking in Minnesota and Iowa the f i rs t half of September. I went to Indiafo r a meeting with the Executive Committee of the South African Board. Also pre se nt wwho with his wife and two c hi ld re n w il l go to Johannesburg in December. Gordon Nelsonpresen t and they hope to go to Capetown ear ly next year to d i r e c t th e work whi le th et he i r furlough, and then to help them e nl arg e th e work.

    Minerva. O hi o was host to a M iss io na ry R a lly and we had opportuni ty to bring messagre n there . Sunday m or ni ng we spoke a t ilanoverton j u s t a few miles away. Brother Lesterto give me a l i f t to New York City and th e Missionary Convention. The Missionary Conventopportuni ty to v i s i t with ol d friends and become a cq ua in te d w it h new folks who shal lth e Lord on t he f or ei gn f ie ld . This t r i p was marred in tha t th e Greyhound Bus Line land i t d id no t ge t back to my home u n t i l ove r t h r ee weeks a f t e r I l e f t . I t was even toh a v e t o t a k e w e s t .

    Leaving New York during the night of the 24th. I flew back to Minneapolis. Whatwere th e l i g h t s of New York City I f Chr i s t i an people could only leave the same kind oft h e w o r l d .

    One fu l l day was spent with th e family a t L i t ch f i e l d . This was f i l l e d with packingget t ing correspondence in order, and leaving plenty behind fo r Ver ni ta to do. Saturddrove to Rapid City, South Dakota. Several members of y family were present at y s i s t ege t in some v is i t in g . Sunday morning I preached fo r Fi r s t Chris t ian Church there. Tfo r t he b re th re n a t Gi l l e t t e , Wyoming.

    Monday began a long Journey to Wasliington Sta te to begin my part in ttfGr Sfrh ooT b f MI have spoken at th ese p laces: In Washington - Woodland.     The roof is on th e church building at Gcilima near Port Shepstone. However beforedone the wind took o ff some t h a t had been pu t on. He was sick several times(Let ter from Stanleys said John passed away th e 27th of September.)
