Im Jahre 1969 konstruierte und baute Hans Dieter Wie-chers den ersten Wiechers Überrollbügel für einen BMW Typ 02. Hiermit begann die Erfolgsgeschichte der Wiechers GmbH. Die Nachfrage nach Wiechers Produkten stieg kon-tinuierlich an, so dass die Firma mehrfach in neue Gebäude umziehen musste. Bis schließlich 1999 der jetzige Standort mit 13.500 m² Betriebsgelände und 5.600 m² Nutzfläche der Firma genügend Reserven zum Wachsen bietet.

Modernste CAD Hilfsmittel für Konstruktion und Vermes-sung garantieren höchste Passgenauigkeit und Qualität. Wir sind spezialisiert auf Überrollbügel, - käfige, Domstreben, Sitzkonsolen, sowie Sonderbauten jeglicher Art aus Stahl, Edelstahl und Aluminium. Unser Betrieb ist zertifiziert nach ISO 9001:2008. Als Inhaber der DMSB Herstellerlizenz sind wir anerkannter Hersteller von Überrollvorrichtungen für den FIA/DMSB –genehmigten internationalen und nationa-len Automobilsport. Durch unsere langjährige Erfahrung mit einem eigenen Rennteam, wie zu Beispiel die letzten Jahre als feste Größe in der WTCC (Tourenwagen Weltmeister-schaft), verfügen wir über das nötige „Know How“ zum Aufbau von Rennfahrzeugen. In 1969 Hans Dieter Wiechers designed and built the first Wiechers roll bar for a BMW Type 02. This was the begin-ning of a lasting success for Wiechers GmbH. The demand for Wiechers products was rising continuously resulting in several relocations to larger facilities. Ultimately in 1999 a new facility with 13.500 m² premises and 5.600 m² floor space was launched enabling us to have enough reserve for growths.

Quality and fitting accuracy are always guaranteed due to state of the art CAD software and measurement tools ap-plied during the production process. We are specialists for roll bars, roll cages, strut bars, sub frames and seat runners as well as special constructions made out of steel, stain-less steel and aluminum. Our company is certified in ac-cordance with ISO 9001:2008 and IQNet. As owners of the DMSB manufacturer’s license we are a certified manufac-turer for all kinds of roll cage devices for the FIA/DMSB international and national automobile motorsport. Due to many years of experience with an own racing team, i.e. member of the WTCC series, Wiechers has the necessary know how for building up complete race cars. Für diese Art von Überrollkäfig muss in den meisten Fällen das (leergeräumte) Fahrzeug bei uns angeliefert werden. Es ist auch möglich diesen Käfig als geschweißte Konstruktion anzufertigen (Voraussetzung: Anlieferung der Rohkarosserie). Zusätzliche Verstrebungen sind ebenfalls machbar. Spre-chen Sie uns an! It is usually necessary to bring your blank car to our shop to install a cage meeting F.I.A /DMSB requirements. It is pos-sible to install this type of roll cage as a welded reinforce-ment structure. In this case we need the blank car body. Welded structures may be equipped with additional struts exceeding the regular layout options. Please give us a call. Unsere Überrollbügel und –käfige erhalten Sie für fast alle gängigen Fahrzeugtypen als Standardprodukt in 4 ver-schiedene Materialausführungen (siehe unten). Die ver-schiedenen Ausführungsmöglichkeiten sehen Sie auf den Seiten 6 und 7. Die Stahl-Bügel und –Käfige werden in schwarz lackiert oder unlackiert geliefert. Aluminium-Bü-gel und –Käfige gibt es in Natur oder hochglanzpoliert. Das Befestigungsmaterial gehört immer zum Lieferum-fang. Wir sind Spezialisten für mittragende Käfigkonstruk-tionen. Unsere Produkte werden in direkter Zusammen- arbeit mit dem DMSB und der FIA entwickelt.

Erklärung „Herstellergutachten“

Mit Hilfe dieses Dokuments können Sie den Überrollbü-gel oder –käfig in Ihrem Fahrzeugbrief eintragen lassen. Achtung! Je nach Land oder Region gibt es verschiedene Verordnungen und Eintragungsregeln, so dass wir nicht immer für die Eintragung garantieren können. Außerdem reicht dieses Herstellergutachten bei Überrollkäfigen aus Stahlrohr ST52 45x2,5 / 40x2 mm für den Einsatz bei na-tionalen Motorsportveranstaltungen aus.

Erklärung „DMSB Zertifikat“

Für Überrollkäfige aus Stahlrohr „25 CrMo 4“ wird für die Teilnahme an DMSB-Motorsportveranstaltungen in jedem Fall ein DMSB-Zertifikat benötigt! Bei Fahrzeugen, die bis zum 31.12.2001 homologiert wurden, sind Überrollkäfige aus un-serem Standardprogramm (Seite 6 und 7) ausreichend. Bei neueren Fahrzeugen sind umfangreichere Konstruktionen notwendig. Die Preise dafür sind unterschiedlich und müssen im Einzelfall festgelegt werden. (siehe Seite 5 und 9).

Our standard program includes roll bars and cages for almost all vehicle types of the major brands. The products are ma-nufactured in 4 different material specifications. To have a look at the materials see the chart at the bottom of this page. Please turn to page 7 to check the variety of layout options.All steel roll cages and roll bars are available with black finish or natural. The aluminium products are delivered with either polished or untreated surface. All necessary mounting parts are included with the shipment. We are also well known specialists for integrated and supporting safety cage construc-tions. All products are manufactured according to regulations of F.I.A and the German Motorsports Board (DMSB).

The Product Certificate

The product certificate issued by Wiechers enables you to enter roll cages and roll bars in your vehicle registration document. Depending on country and region the regu-lations for registration may vary thus we cannot guaran-tee that your product is eligible for registration. The pro-duct certificate for roll cages built of steel tubes specified St52 (1.0570) is sufficient to perform in national (Ger-man) motor sports events.

The “DMSB-Certificate”

All roll cages built of steel tubes specified 25 CrMo 4 (1.7218) necessarily require a certificate issued by the DMSB to compe-te in motorsports. For Vehicles homologated till January 31st 2001 you may choose roll cages from our standard program (see pages 6 - 7). Vehicles homologated beyond this date re-quire more extensive roll cage constructions. Therefore prices have to be determined according to specific complexity.

Domstrebe: Eine Domstrebe bringt für alle Fahrzeuge, diesportlich bewegt werden sollen, bedeutend mehr Stabilitätim vorderen Stoßdämpferbereich und vermeidet Verzugs-erscheinungen in der Karosserie. Außerdem wird das Fahr-zeug spurtreuer und direkter in der Lenkung.

Front suspension brace: A front suspension brace provides a lot more stability to cars that are driven sporty style in the front shock absorber section and avoids warping of the car body. In addition to this the car´s steering gets more stable and direct.

Fahrwerkstrebe (Querlenkerabstützung): Diese reduzieren Spur- und Sturzveränderungen der Vorderachse. Dadurch wird ebenfalls die Spurtreue verbessert. Besonders zu empfehlen bei Breitreifen und Sportfahrwerken.

Chassis brace (traverse control arm support): Cassis braces reduce tread width and camber changes at the front axle. They enhance the steering stability. Recommendable es-pecially in combination with wide tires or a sport chassis.

Fahrwerkstreben hinten: Diese verbessern das Fahrver-halten in extremen Situationen, besonders in Kurven und bei Bremsmanövern. Befestigung zwischen den Domen.

Rear chassis frame braces: They improve the performanceof the vehicle in extreme situations, especially in turns or if applying the brakes. Braces are mounted between the wheel housing domes.

Due to this an extremely exact adjust-ment is possible. Racingline products are available in two finishes: aluminium high gloss polished or carbon coated. With this front suspension brace you get the top level of optical and technical performance.

Im Motorsport spielt Zeit eine große Rolle. Dies gilt insbesondere auch bei Unfällen. Die Bergung von verletzten Fahrern und Fahrerinnen erfolgt immer unter Zeitdruck. Ab sofort kann sichergestellt werden, dass die Rettungskräf-te barrierefrei arbeiten und verunfallte Fahrer problemlos und ohne zusätz-liches Verletzungsrisiko aus dem havarierten Fahrzeug bergen können. Das Nienburger Traditionsunternehmen Wiechers Sport präsentiert mit dem von Herrn A.Trojan, Firma GTM GMBH aus Gäufelden-Nebringen ent-wickelten und patentierten „ Fix Opening And Closure Securitity System“ kurz FO-CS eine wegweisende Neuheit im Motorsport. Die Firma GTM GmbH hat das FO-CS System in Abstimmung mit dem DMSB (Deutscher Motorsport Bund) und Wiechers Sport zum Serieneinsatz weiterentwickelt und zahlreichen Prüfungen unterzogen. Anschließend erfolgte die Freiga-be und Homologation durch die F.I.A. Der von der F.I.A. und dem DMSB homologierte Schnellverschluss FO-CS für Seitenaufprallbefestigungen bei Überrollkäfigen setzt neue Sicherheitsmaßstäbe im Motorsport. Das FO-CS System wird sowohl im Spitzen- als auch im Breitensport einen ähnlichen Standard setzen wie das seit Jahren etablierte HANS-System.

F.I.A. und DMSB homologierter Schnellverschluss für Seitenaufprallbe-festigungen wie Türkreuze und Flankenschutz bei Überrollkäfigen und EinschweißzellenEs handelt sich um einen wesentlichen Bestandteil der Sicherheitseinrichtung. Wiechers Sport and GTM GmbH to set new safety standards

Nothing is as important as time in motor sports. Particularly with regar-ds to recovering drivers in case of accident. As from now a new safety device enables emergency services to rescue injured drivers from the wrecked vehicle barrier free and without additional risk of injury. Long established Wiechers Sport from Nienburg (Germy) along with GTM GmbH from Gaeufelden-Nebringen (Germany) is proud to introduce the patented “Fix Opening and Closure Security Systems (FO-CS) de-veloped by GTM´s Mr. A. Trojan. The FO-CS System is ready for series launch after intense testing by Wiechers Sport and GTM GmbH in close cooperation with the German motor sports board DMSB (Deutscher-Motrsport-Bund). By now the innovative FO-CS device is also approved and homologated by the F.I.A. Receiving homologation by F.I.A. and DMSB, the new quick release device for lateral impact protections of roll cages will set new safety standards in professional racing as well as for amateur motor sports competitors, comparable to the well-established HANS-System.

Unsere Gurte sind TÜV geprüft und entsprechen derDIN EN 12195-2. Die Zugkraft des jeweiligen Gurtes erkennen Sie anhand der Angabe auf dem blauen Etikett (Bsp. LC. 2.000 DaN), oder an den schwarzen Linien im Gurtband. Eine Linie steht für 500 kg Zugkraft in geradem Zug!
