Playing endlessly on the boundaries of space.

STRETCHING AS FAR AS IMAGINATION ITSELF

Light meets crystal, and is captured and mirrored into infi nity. Realms of fantasy open up before the eyes. Kindled by sunlight or lit by artifi cial means, crystal panels will take on a radiance that seems to come from within. Dancing light plays across surfaces, an endless source of inspiration.

Nuances, secret and subtle, or a shimmering sea of light – each crystal panel is a unique creation, structuring and transforming walls and ceilings, façades and doors, furniture and partitions. Architecture becomes vibrant and variegated, and rooms open up to the visitor in an expansive gesture of welcome.

“The powerful, asymmetrical panel gives the space a touch of mystery. It breaks up the symmetry and the right angles of the architecture.”

“The serially set panels give the space structure, thus creating a whole new dynamic. The powerful panel design was created for this space and forms an integral part of the architecture.”

“Crystal panels alter spatial perception, making rooms appear wider and more spacious. This concept makes use of this effect – along with the unusual lighting effect.”

CRYSTAL BY CRYSTAL

Skilled hands carefully precision-set each individual crystal into place. Crystal by crystal the pattern, individually devised or selected by the architect or designer, takes shape. Sometimes the crystals are combined with sandblasted or printed ornaments to produce quite unique effects. The scope for design is almost limitless. The possibilities for symmetrical and asymmetrical patterns, logos and texts are vast.

The design of the panel itself depends entirely on the individual effect desired in the room. Whether a single pane of glass with a crystal motif is called for or whether it should be combined with a mirror or more panes of glass – all depends on where the panel is to be positioned and what effect it is intended to create in the room!

Crystal panel patterns are created using different crystals. Very often chaton crystals in crystal, emerald, topaz and sapphire colours are used, some between 2.10 mm and 11.3 mm. We will be pleased to advise you in your choice of the ideal design and combination of panels for your particular room.

LIGHTING EFFECTS

Crystal panels are displayed to their best effect when kindled by light: natural or artifi cial light. Spectacular effects are created when the crystal panels themselves are illuminated. Both optical-fi bres and LED technology are suited to this. Implosion, Andromeda and Northern Lights crystal panels are confi gured for optical-fi bres. Supernova, Ornamentic II and Implosion LED come supplied with plug-in LED light elements. Individually-confi gured panels can, of course, be outfi tted accordingly.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Crystal panels are fi tted with a pressure compensating valve in the insulating compound. This remains open during air transport and must be closed immediately on delivery to restore the panel seal. The panel frame or retaining structure must be organised by the customer and static calculations must be made by a professional engineer / stress analyst.
