DJI Inspire 45mm Full Size 221 pictures with one battery are not possible. I had to find a workflow where I can change the battery without losing the precision. With 4/3 45mm => 90mm no drifting is tolerable. DronePan uses a gimbal up down algorithm. You can imagine drifting with 200 pictures… I choose a left to right algorithm. That is possible with DroneBlocks or Autopilot. DoneBlocks does not support +30° for the pitch so I choose Autopilot. I wait with great patience to do this with DroneBlocks with +30° support.

Column with 17° Row Height 12° As we have to change the battery you have to fix a way point. That is very easy with Autopilot and even necessary for the workflow. The first panorama takes 4x22 pictures. +30° to -6°

You can check the frames grid for your custom papywizard xml script.

Return back to your home point change the battery and change the parameters in Autopilot without changing the panorama way point. Vertical start -18° to -90°.

Import to Autopano Giga Delete the last 4 pictures from Autopilot at -90°. Import the 221 pictures in Autopano Giga.

If you like to export 78000 Pixel it will be difficult to fix the sky. You can downgrade it to 30000 Pixel and have a very sharp result.

Fix the sky To fix the real sky are 2 methods. You can fix the ski with Super Cupic in PS for a maximum size of 30’000x15’000 Pixel or with cubes in any sizes. In any way I upscale/stretch the ski from 35° to +60° in PS.

Supe Cubic method Downscale the stitching to 30’000x15’000 Pixel. Stretch the sky to +60° start Super Cubic and fix the sky.

You can do a little planet with sharp 30’000 Pixel.

The Gigapixel Method Stitch the image to a maximum size. I made 50’000x25’000 Pixel. Load the picture into PS and stretch the sky to +60°. Save the tiff image with the fast LZW compression.

Load the picture into Pantour and export 6 cubes. Fix the sky cube in PS. Load the cubes into Panotour and save 1 panorama image.
