Mit einer Kollektion von zeitlosen, minimal-istischen und wasserfesten Outdoor-Möbeln bietet die moderne Möbelmarke hochwertig-es Design für den privaten und öffentlichen Bereich.

Für 2018/19 präsentiert sich april furniture mit der Lounge-Kollektion LOOP, LOOPY, JAM und den Gartenliegen LOOPSTER und JAMSTER. Eine Kollektion von hochwerti-gen, minimalistischen Polstermöbeln. Die Lounges sind aus wetterfesten Textilien und für den dauerhaften Einsatz im Freien geeig-net. Der Sonnenschirm SHANGRILA ergänzt die Polstermöbelkollektion und bietet neue Möglichkeiten zur Verschattung von Terras-sen. Eine weitere Ergänzung ist der Tisch ISY, der perfekt zu den klaren Linien der Lounges passt. Eine Reihe neuer und aktueller Farben unterstreicht den modernen Charakter der Kollektion.

With a collection of timeless, minimalist and water-resistant outdoor furniture, the modern furniture brand offers high-quality design for the private and public sector.

For 2018/19 april furniture presents with the lounge collection LOOP, JAM and the garden loungers LOOPSTER and JAMSTER. A collec-tion of high quality, minimalist upholstered furniture. The lounges are made of weather-proof textiles and suitable for permanent use outdoor. The sunshade SHANGRILA comple-ments the collection of upholstered furni-ture and offers new possibilities for providing shade for terraces. Another addition is ISY table that matches perfectly to the lounges clean lines. A range of new and current colours underpins the modern character of the collection.

FLORIAN ASCHE

Florian Asche ist Produktdesigner (Bachelor Produktdesign am Central St. Martins College of Art and Design in London).

Im Jahr 1995 gründete Florian Asche ge-meinsam mit Philipp Mainzer die Firma „e15 Design- und Distributions GmbH”. Die Pos-tleitzahl des Ost-Londoner Stadtteils Hackney hat der Firma ihren Namen gegeben. Zunächst übernahm er dort die Funktion des Design-ers und Geschäftsführers. Er entwickelte ge-meinsam mit Philipp Mainzer die Identität der Marke e15 und sorgte für die geschäftliche Etablierung des Unternehmens. Später konz-entrierte er sich auf den Vertrieb und baute ein weltweit agierendes Vertriebsnetz mit führen-den Handelspartnern der Branche auf.

2006 veräußerte Florian Asche seine Anteile an der e15 GmbH, um ein neues Unterneh-menskonzept für den Designmöbelmarkt zu entwickeln: april allterior furniture.

Die Weiterentwicklung und Fokussierung auf Lounge Gartenmöbel führte zur heute bestehenden Firma april furniture.

Florian Asche is Product Designer (Bachelor Product Design at Central St. Martins College of Art and Design, London).

In 1995 Florian Asche founded the company “e15 Design- und Distributions GmbH” together with Philipp Mainzer. The zip code of the East London Hackney district gave the company its name. He initially took on the role of designer and managing director there. Together with Philipp Mainzer, he developed the identity of the e15 brand and ensured the business es-tablishment of the company. Later, he focused on sales and built a global sales network with leading industry trading partners.

In 2006, Florian Asche sold his shares in e15 GmbH to develop a new corporate concept for the design furniture market: april allterior furni-ture.

The further development and focus on lounge garden furniture led to today’s company april furniture.

Das modulare Gartensofa LOOPY wird, wie der große Bruder LOOP, aus hoch-wertigen Stoffen verarbeitet. Während die LOOP-Gartenmöbel eher eine legere Sitzhaltung bieten, ermöglicht das LOOPY Polstermöbel eine aufrechtere Sitzposition. Das LOOPY Gartensofa kommt insbesondere auf engerem Raum wie auf kleineren Terrassen oder Balkonen zum Einsatz.

Auch hier können die Module frei kombiniert werden und verschiedene Konfigurationen erstellt werden.

While the LOOP garden furniture is ideal for lounging, the LOOPY upholstered fur-niture offers a more upright seating position. Die Sonnenliege LOOPSTER ist für den Gebrauch im Außenbereich gedacht. Ihr geringes Gewicht von ca. 8 kg macht sie leicht verstaubar. Überzeugend ist der einfache Klappmechanismus, mit dem man die Liege im Handumdrehen verstaut hat. Bei kleineren Regenschauern kann der LOOPSTER im Freien gelassen werden. Anders als herkömmliche Sonnenliegen ist der LOOPSTER sowohl in Seiten- als auch in Rückenlage komfortabel. Das Kopfteil dient dazu, ein Kissen vor dem Verrutschen zu bewahren. Somit kann man bequem lesen, dösen, schlafen oder sonnen-baden.

Das Garten Loungemöbel JAM ist die Erweit-erung zur LOOP- sowie der LOOPY-Kollektion. Die sichtbaren Kufen aus Edelstahl bewirk-en einen 17 cm- Abstand zum Boden. Dieses Detail verleiht der Gartenlounge eine optische Leichtigkeit und bietet zusätzlich entsprechende Unterlüftung. Die Module einer Sitzgruppe können beliebig variiert werden. Durch das geringe Gewicht bleibt man flexibel in der Gestaltung.

Das Sonnendach bietet die Möglichkeit, die St-offbahnen je nach dem Stand der Sonne im Gestell zu verschieben. Das Gestell des Sonnendachs besteht aus geschliffenem Edelstahl. Die verwendeten Stoffe haben eine gute UV-Beständigkeit und sind für den ganz- jährigen Einsatz geeignet.

Das Gestell besteht aus rostfreiem Edelstahl (V2A), 12 mm Vollmaterial. Die Holzteile werden aus thermisch behandelter Esche produziert und sind dadurch wetterfest und langlebig für den Außenbereich.

Das Gestell des Sonnendachs wird aus geschliffenem Edel-stahl hergestellt und aus recht- eckigen 40×20 mm Rohrprofilen mit einer Wandstärke von 2 mm gefertigt. Das moderne Design-Segel kann mit zwei Personen in etwa einer Stunde montiert werden und wiegt ca. 85 kg. Das Sonnendach kann das ganze Jahr im Freien stehen. In den Wintermonaten kann der Stoff abge-hängt oder im Gestell verstaut werden. Auch das Gestell kann für den Transport oder in der Winterzeit mit zwei Personen demontiert werden. Optionale Hussen schützen den Stoff zusätzlich.

The frame of the sunshade is made of brushed stainless steel in the form of rec-tangular 40x20 mm sections of tubing with a wall thickness of 2 mm. The sun-shade can be put up by two people in ap-proximately one hour and weighs a total of approx. 85 kg. it is suitable for use outdoors all year round. In the winter months, the fabric should be removed or stored in the frame. The frame itself can be taken apart by two people for transport or for storage over the winter. Optional slipcovers additionaly protect the fabric.

Der Couchtisch ISY wird aus einem wetter-festen Edelstahlgestell und eine Tischplatte aus thermisch behandeltem Eschenholz gefertigt.

Bei der Esche handelt es sich um ein in Deutschland heimischen Holz welches sich gut für eine Thermobehandlung eignet. Das Edel-stahlgestell wird aus Vollmaterial gebogen und verschweißt.

ISY coffee table is made of a weatherproof stainless steel frame and the table top made from thermally treated ash wood.

The ash wood is a domestic wood in Germany which is well suited for a thermal treatment and therefore for outdoor use. The stainless steel frame is bent from solid materi-al.
