„Technisch perfekt, mit ungeheurer Energie ... ... und erfrischender Lässigkeit“ (Fuldaer Zeitung). Die Trombone Unit Hannover war das erste Posaunen-Ensemble, das jemals den Dt. Musikpreis gewann (2011). Fast alle der jungen Musiker sind heute Solisten in europäi-schen Spitzenorchestern. Als Oktett gastieren sie mit kreativen Programmen in Europa, Amerika und Asien. Ein Highlight im Jahr 2017 ist ihre Debüt-Tournee nach Japan. Voller Authentizität und mit einem Repertoire auch jenseits der gängigen Brass-Standards eröffnet das Ensemble einen neuen Blick auf die Schönheit und Vielfalt des Posaunenklangs.

The Trombone Unit Hannover is the first ensemble of its kind to win the German Music Competition (2011). Today, most of the young trombonists are soloists in leading European orchestras. As an octet they play in Europe, America and Asia. One of the highlights in their 2017 calendar is their debut tour to Japan. Their creative and authentic programmes, with repertoire beyond the usual brass standards, have opened a completely new view on the beauty and richness of trombone sound.
