der Welt. Basierend auf der faszinierenden Kombination aus

hochwertigster Gänse-Daunenqualität und einem technologischen

Meilenstein in der Geschichte der Leichtgewichtsgewebe. Mit nur

nur 25 g/m2 für NTN und sogar nur 20,5 g/m2 für NTN 0.2 hält

unser NTN Gewebe seit Jahren die Konkurrenz auf Abstand. Die

unglaubliche Widerstandsfähigkeit ist mittlerweile legendär und

schlägt viele wesentlich schwerere Stoffe um Längen. Kaum einem

Gewebe im Outdoor-Bereich ist anfänglich soviel Skepsis entgegen

gebracht worden. Und das verständlicherweise. Es fühlt sich derart

seidenartig und weich an, dass man ihm seine Strapazierfähigkeit

nicht zutraut. Tatsächlich hat erst der beeindruckende

Drahtbürstentest die Branche restlos überzeugt.

Die verwendete Crystal Down steht den Fähigkeiten des

NTN Gewebes nicht nach. Ihr Daunen-/ Federnverhältnis

beträgt erstklassige 95/5 und sie erreicht mit 800+ cuin den

höchstmöglichen Loft. Dadurch besticht sie durch exzellente

Insulations- und Performancewerte. Besser können wir unsere

Produkte einfach nicht ausstatten!

Micro-Technologie aufgestoßen.

Companyon Produkte gibt es in vielen Farben, von stilvoll bis

aufregend. Allen gemeinsam ist allerdings der edle Glanz des NTN

Gewebes, an dessen Brillanz sich die Konkurrenz bisher ebenfalls

die Zähne ausgebissen hat.

Alle Teile der companyon collection sind spielend leicht in die linke

Fronttasche verpackbar und nehmen zusammengepackt unerreicht

wenig Platz ein. Echte Companyons, wo immer es hingehen soll.

Was ist dot protect process?

Gewebe kann sich durch die Beanspruchung des Tragens und

Waschens mit der Zeit in seiner Struktur verschieben. Darunter

leidet im Normalfall immer auch die Daunendichtigkeit, die auf

eine möglichst enge Gewebestruktur angewiesen ist. Um diesem

Effekt entgegen zu wirken, verwendet Yeti bei seinem next to

nothing Gewebe ein sehr aufwendiges Finish, das die exakte

Formstabilität der Gewebekonstruktion enorm verlängert.

Dabei werden computergesteuert winzige Klebeflecken auf

ausgewählte Kreuzungspunkte des Gewebes aufgebracht.

Dadurch erhöht sich die Strukturfestigkeit der Gewebekonstruktion

signifikant, was dafür sorgt, dass die Daunendichtigkeit wesentlich

länger als bei normalen Geweben stabil bleibt. Eine einzigartige

Genuine classics that continue to be the lightest down collection

in the world. This collection is based on a fascinating combination

of premium goose down quality and a technological milestone in

the history of lightweight-fabrics. At 25 g/m2 (NTN) and 20,5 g/m2

(NTN 0.2) our next to nothing fabric has beaten all competition over

the years. The ample resilience has become legendary and beats out

many heavier materials remarkably. Hardly any other fabric in the

outdoor buisness was initially approached with similar skepticism,

which is understandable. It may seem to be too silky and soft to the

touch to be trusted with durability. Indeed, only the impressive test

with a wire brush could convince the industry completely.

The carefully selected Crystal Down is in no way inferior to the

capabilities of the NTN fabric. Its mixing ratio of down and feathers

amounts to superb 95/5 and gains an 800+ fill power. The down is

renowned for its convincing insulation and performance results. Our

products couldn’t be equipped better.

When it comes to finishing, NTN is to be found in the high-tech

sector as well. The innovative Dot Protect Process opened the way to

micro-technology.

From classy to exciting; the companyon products are colored in

a variety of shades. However, they share the characteristic noble

glance of the NTN fabric. The competition is having a tough time

What is Dot Protect Process?

Woven fabric can gradually lose its shape due to strain and washing.

Because down is dependent on a tight fabric structure, the density

of down usually suffers from that as well. To counteract these

effects, Yeti utilizes an innovative finish for its next to nothing fabric

that extends the precise dimensional stability of the fabric structure

remarkably.

Tiny adhesive dots are computer-operated attached to selected

intersections in the fabric.

The stability of the fabric increases significantly, which ensures a

longer lasting density of down compared to normal fabrics. A rather

unique technology.

im sächsischen Görlitz. Hier wurden jahrhundertelang

erstklassige Tücher gewebt und gewalkt. Heute fertigen acht

Yeti-Mitarbeiter rund 10000 Daunen-Schlafsäcke im Jahr, die

zu den besten der Welt zählen.

Vom Yeti-Geschäftsführer bis zum Mann vom Vertrieb arbei-

ten alle Tür an Tür – die meistens offen stehen. Das hat zwei

Vorteile: Man hält es hier nur aus, wenn man die Kollegen

wenigstens ein bisschen mag. Und die Qualität der Produktion

ist für jeden sichtbar.

Die Daunen werden vor der Anlieferung in Laboren regelmä-

ßig auf ihre Güte geprüft, ebenso durchlaufen die Textilien

externe Qualitäts-Checks. Das Gespür von langjährigen Mit-

arbeitern wie Birgit, Sophia, Ramona und Ingrid allerdings ist

unersetzlich. Jede Daunenfüllung, jeder Quadratmeter Textil

geht durch ihre Hände. Sie sehen, spüren und riechen, ob

Reife, Bauschkraft, Mischungsverhältnis, Geschmeidigkeit und

Geruch den Anforderungen an eine Crystal Down genügen.

Mit geschlossenen Augen erkennen sie ein LightyGram-

Gewebe, mit offenen die Fehler in einem AquaProPlus-Bezug.

Schlampereien verzeihen sie nicht, ihr Urteil ist gnadenlos. Für

sie ist Qualität nicht nur eine Frage von Richtlinien, sondern

auch eine Frage der Ehre.

Handmade in GermanyA Matter of Honour

Yeti produces in Germany. The small factory is located in the

Saxon Görlitz. At this place, first-class cloths have been woven

and fulled for centuries. Nowadays, eight Yeti employees

produce about 10000 down sleeping bags per year, which rank

among the best of the world.

From the Yeti Managing Director to the salesman, they all

work next door – which is usually open. This has two advan-

tages: One can only bear up working here if one likes the

colleagues at least a little bit. And the quality of production is

visible for everyone.

Prior to delivery, the quality of the downs is checked regularly

at laboratories and the textiles pass through external quality

checks. However, the sense of longstanding employees such

as Birgit, Sophia, Ramona and Ingrid is irreplaceable. Each

down filling, each square metre of textile passes through their

hands. They see, feel and smell if maturity, bulking power,

mixing ratio, softness and odor comply with the demands on a

Crystal Down. With their eyes closed they identify a Lighty-

Gram-tissue, with their eyes open they find the smallest errors

in a AquaProPlus-cover. They do not pardon sloppiness, their

judgment is merciless. For them, quality is not just a question

of guidelines, but a also a question of honour.
