Work History03/2015 – 02/2016 – United Worldwide Logistics Ltd : Container Co-ordinator: Liaising with various customers on a daily basis, accepting job orders and

entering the details on to Truckcom to ensure no jobs are missed by the job planer.

Pre exec empty and loaded export containers with various container operators ensuring container and seal numbers have been passed to container operators to ensure restitution details have been obtained and updated prior to vehicles arriving back at the port.

Assisting the Transport Manager with daily tasks such as operating a NIL defect system, liaising with repairers ensure any defects are repairs quickly and efficiently to avoid vehicles being off the road for long periods.

Carry out Vehicle Access Reports by visiting locations via to delivery of customer’s goods for a large manufacturer of electrical switch panels and transformers used in substations for various electricity suppliers throughout the UK.

Using Tom Tom vehicle tracking to monitor vehicles location. Use Truckcom daily to enter all jobs, including delivery details, job references,

and load or delivery references. Allocate vehicles and drivers to jobs. Replying to any customer enquiries. Upload details to DP World VBS Premium booking system. Download driver digi cards and vehicle tachograph heads.

12/2014 – 03/2015 – Manpower (Royal Mail/Brace’s)Class 1 Driver:Loading/unloading of vehicle. Making collections/deliveries from depots and their customer’s sites throughout the UK. Carry out daily vehicle checks and security of load using 26t and 44t vehicles including double deck trailers. Following company procedures and using Isotrack tracking/log in/out systems.

06/2014 -07/2014 (Holiday cover) – Peter Broughton LtdClass 2 Driver:Loading/unloading of vehicle. Checking delivery paperwork is correct, making deliveries throughout South/Mid Wales on a multi-drop basis, collecting and handling

12/2013- 04/2014 – Continued on at D&A Media Bristol Ltd after sale of shares and standing down as a DirectorOperations Consultant:I have continued in the temporary role as Operations Manager with D&A Media Bristol Ltd and helped with the day to day operations on a short term basis after standing down as a Director.

06/2012 – 12/2013 D&A Media Bristol LtdCompany Director / Shareholder:

I started the company as a subsidiary alongside D&A Transport (Cardiff) Ltd, operating out of Avonmouth with 12 vehicles and two trailers.

Applied for and obtained Operators license which was granted as requested. Involved in financial decisions and agreements. Arrange vehicle maintenance alongside the Transport Manager. P&L sheets, pricing jobs, route planning including driver allocations.

Procurements, health & safety. In December 2012 Mr. Andrew Emmett joined me as a co-director and

shareholder. In February 2013 D&A Transport (Cardiff) Ltd went in to administration and Andrew Emmett and I purchased the sales leger and some assets from the administrators of D&A Transport.

Furthermore we sort financial packages from varies finance companies to transfer some of the leased vehicles and expand the vehicles we operated after obtaining an increase in the operator license from 12 to 32 vehicles.

The company has been successful in obtaining and continues to work with blue chip companies such as TNT, Fedex, Citylink, Ceva amongst other local companies such as Euroclad.

During the short period of trading the company has also been successful in trading showing a £280,000 profit in the first year of trading, however I stepped down as a director and shareholder in December 2013 due to disagreements in which the company was operating and we could not come to a mutual agreement on. I have however continued in the short period to assist the company in the daily operations.

10/2011- 02/2013 D&A Transport (Cardiff) LtdOperations Manager:

Duties involved day to day running of company. Making daily contact with customers ensuring there requirements were

covered. Liaised with drivers ensuring they were aware of the workloads and start

times. Carried out administrative duties including using windows excel and word.

Pricing jobs, written company handbook, procedures and policies. Routing / planning fleet.

Liaising with suppliers and obtaining improved cost reductions. Procurement including fuels / tyres /uniforms.
