Suomalaisen Tiedeakaternian Toi'mituksi,a - Annales Acad, emiae Scien-tiarum Penruicae, Series A. f. erscheint seit dem Jahre 194I.
die Nummer 336 (Colloquium on mathematical a,ritll1,sis. Kolloquiunr iibermathematische Analyse. Helsinki 1962).
The Annales Acailem, icte Sci,enticmttn ,Feruriccte Series A.I. have beenpublished since 1941, and up through l9ö7 included both mathematicsand physics (as well as geophvsics arrd astronornv) u.ith the subtitle »Mathe-matica-Physica» in the Numbers I tl-rrough 234. Begirrning with No. 235
the series has been devoted solely to mathematics with the title, corre-spondingly, »Mathematica». (In 1957 publication of the new subseries,
Series A. VI. Physica was begun.) The series has appeared regularly innumbered monographs and also in volurnes of se'r.eral consecutive mono-graphs bound together. 'Ihe volumes are unrrlrubered. It should be notedthat Nos. 249, 250 and 251 each contain b.1, sxs.plion. several studies (Pro-

ceedings of the fnternational colloquium on t'he theory of functions. Hel-sinki 1957) as does No. 336 (Colloquium on mathematical analysis. Kollo-quium iiber mathematische Analyse. Helsinki 1962.)
When this index goes to press, all the studies listed herein will still beavailable in the bookshop. Likewise there will be available the mathernat-ical studies which rvere published by the Finnish Academy of Science andLetters from 1909 through 1940 in the so-named old series of the AnnalesAcademiae Scient'iarutn Pe'nnicae, Vols. I-LX, and which were not divideclinto subseries according to subject.
