Preparation for the Yemei HaDin Given by Rabbi Binyamin Jacobson Monday and Wednesday night, after the 8:00 Maariv In the front left corner of the Beis Midrash.

End of Early Shabbos This Shabbos will be the LAST Shul’s “early Shabbos minyan” of the season.

The 9:00pm Maariv will take place this week and next week (Nitzavim), and will then end until next summer.

Daled Minim Shuk The Shul will be facilitating its annual 3-minim sale again this year. The Shul provides this as a service to its members, and takes no money for it. The quality of each sug is very high for that sug—just ask people who have been there, done that. This has been going on for many years,and BH virtually everyone has been satisfied. Once again, you just come (Thursday night after Yom Kippur), pick up, pay, and go. Rav Malinowitz (and his son Nechemya) will be there as well.

Women’s Committee News Thank you to the Feiner Family for opening their home to the Women’s Melave Malka last week. Thank you to the women who made food for the event. When is the best time to say selichos? Just before that, in the wee hours just before dawn!

Join the BTYA Vasikin Minyon as we begin saying selichos for the 8th year. As in the past, we will be following the age-old minhag of saying the first selichos at midnight Motza’ei Shabbos, but beginning Monday morning we will have selichos 25 minutes before Shacharis. Shabbos Chaburah

After a 2 week break the Shabbos Chaburah is back this week. At our last (and only) Chaburah we had a record 50 people attending. The bar was set high but we are hoping to beat that number. Please join the chevra for a small Kiddush in the beis medrash after the main Shachris. The kiddush will be followed by a 20 minute chaburah By R' Nir Kedar. This week's topic is: Is your dishwasher milchig, flesihig, or both?

Selichos Selichos begin this Motza’ei Shabbos. See the advertisement on the last page for full details.

During the week, selichos begin 25 minutes before the vasikin minyon, and 30 minutes before the other two minyonim. The full schedule is on the bottom of the last page. Note that the 8:00 minyon will say selichos at 7:30am in the vasikin room and then move downstairs.

Rosh HaShanah at Sunrise Even if you don’t daven at hanetz during the year, doing so on Rosh HaShanah might be a really good idea.

The poskim discuss that one should NOT sleep on Rosh HaShanah. Based on a process of elimination, it seems like this must be talking about in the morning, before davening and Tekios (because it’s actually OK to sleep after).

BTYA’s Vasikin minyan can help you accomplish this.

Join us, through amida of shacharis, and then rejoin the main minyan for chazzaras hashatz with the full tzibbur.
