Biomedical Engineering

The international Biomedical Engineering program isoffered by the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences.This program offers students excellent opportunity tocombine theory and practice as well as engineeringand biological-medical knowledge. The course workis organised in modules to provide maximum flexibilityin choosing a study plan. Furthermore, the EuropeanCredit Transfer System (ECTS) enables students totransfer easily within the European university system.Another emphasis of the course work is on a wellballanced oportunity to choose between project- andtheory-oriented courses.

STUDIENZIEL

The objective of the program is to provide students abroad and in-depth scientific qualification for anacademic career, prepare them for working in aninternational environment or assist them undertake aprofessional re-orientation.

Biomedical engineering supports physicists and evenbiologists with technical solutions. The developedbiomedical systems are as complex as the humansubject. Biomedical engineers act often as interpretersbetween physicians and technicians. Their familiaritywith medical technology regulations and laws enablesthem to work in governmental agencies.

A unique pool of research equipment, close links topartners in the USA and the German health industryoffer great opportunities for development, bothprofessionally and scientifically. In general isbiomedical engineering a crisis-proof job.
