With the new Intas Advanced Sample Illumination Technology, you can take fluorescence imaging to a new level. Specially designed high-power LEDs with an extra wide exit angle allow sample sizes up to 30 x 25 cm to be evenly illuminated. Several LEDs with an ex-tremely high total power output are available for each color channel. In addition, your sample will be excited as accurately as possible, using highly specific interference filters. In total, you have up to four color channels that can be used at the same time without adjustment or modification. This enables unprecedented results to be achieved - regardless of whether you use fluorescent western blotting, direct labelling, 2D DIGE or other fluorescent applications.

Vü- F Fluorescence system

Vü is for fluorescence applications such as DNA gels, protein gels, safe dye gels. The sliding drawer can accept samples up to 20cm x 20cm and has a series of trays available for different application types. Just place your sample on the tray and push it in. Vü detects the sample type and captures an image using either UV, blue light. The use of traditional ethidium bromide stained UV gels may be declining but we’ve still built in a 302nm light source. For safe dyes there are integral blue LED’s. You can still use a traditional white light converter to view commassie and silver stain samples.

Using the Advanced Progressive Imaging technology, the high sensitivity sensors can easily capture low output blots to give you an outstanding image. All you have to do is to select the tray size for your blot, place the blot in the marked position and push the tray into Vü with your finger. Vü immediately recognises the tray and then adapts to the blot size or application type. You will get your image in a matter of a few minutes.
