Dear readers,It is late summer in Mallorca and the intense heat that has seen us all running for the beaches has finally cooled enough to start exploring once again. This is undeniably one of the best times for active pursuits, and in this issue we discover the beauty of the island by pedal-power with our cycling activity report, and follow in the toe-clips of some of the Worlds top cyclists as we attempt to conquer the herculean mountain climb from Port de Sller to the famous Sa Calobra by e-bike. We also set off on a wonderful coastal hike in the far south of the island in search of the perfect beach.

Yet we also find time to slow down and enjoy the advent of autumn. With the grape harvest in full swing we have tasted dozens of wines - all in the name of research of course - to bring you our guide to Mallorcan wines. We also head into the countryside for a spot of foraging in search of flavourful mushrooms, blackberries, snails and wild asparagus. We head north to the beautiful town of Pollena and discover its long ancestry, cobbled streets and artistic heritage, and get to know the islands residents better with our top people-watching spots. With our fabulous competition, recipes from La Residencia Hotels acclaimed restaurant El Olivo and a round-up of Dont Miss events there is plenty to tickle the taste buds and get those travel juices flowing.

Liebe Leser,Es ist Sptsommer in Mallorca und die intensive Hitze, die uns alle an die Strnde getrieben hat, ist endlich genug abgekhlt, sodass wir uns wieder auf Erkundungsreisen begeben knnen. Dies ist zweifellos eine der besten Zeiten fr aktive Beschftigungen, und in dieser Ausgabe entdecken wir die Schnheit der Insel vom Sattel aus bei unserem Aktivittsbericht Radfahren. Wir treten in die Pedalhaken einiger der weltbesten Radfahrer und versuchen uns an einer wahren Herkulesaufgabe: einer Bergtour von Port de Sller zur berhmten Bucht Sa Calobra auf einem E-Bike. Wir machen uns auch auf zu einer wunderschnen Kstenwanderung im uersten Sden der Insel auf der Suche nach dem perfekten Strand.

Wir fahren nach Norden in die schne Stadt Pollena und erkunden ihre lange Vergangenheit, die gepflasterten Gassen und ihr knstlerisches Erbe, whrend wir an unseren fnf besten Orten, um Leute zu beobachten, den Inselbewohnern nher kommen.
