Application Fire and CO detector for very early and reliable detection of emerging fire, due to analysis of the three criteria smoke, heat and gas. Very fast response to all carbon monoxide (CO) generating fires and very early and reliable alarming in environments with deceptive phenomena. Function Works according to the scattered-light principle with two sensors, optical forward and backward scatter-ing. Opto-electronic sampling chamber blocks disturbing extraneous light but optimally detects both dark and light smoke particles. Technical description 007016

Application Large storerooms and production workshops. Areas with complex roof structures or historically valuable ceilings. Covered courtyards. Atrium-type buildings. Reception halls. Can be used as an addressable or collective, conventional device. Function The detector consists of a light emitter and a light receiver. The light emitter emits a bundled infrared ray, which is scattered back by the prism-shaped reflector to the light emitter. The receiver converts the received infrared signal in an electric signal, which is evaluated by the microprocessor-controlled elec-tronics. Smoke penetrating the measuring section attenuates the infrared signal. When the signal reaches pre-defined measuring values, the detector transmits the corresponding danger level to the control unit. Distance measurement for the recognition of foreign mAtters. The built-in alarm indicator signals the alarm status locally. Max. Detection distance 5 – 100m. Application Reflectors to the linear smoke detector incl. detector heating. Function Light rays arriving are reflected parallel. Any extraneous light is also reflected in its own direction and consequently does not reach the receiver. The retro reflecting prism in the DLR1191 has the shape of a pyramid that's lateral faces are formed by isosceles orthogonal triangles.
