WBF #21 8 - 14 Jul. 2018 Seit 1998 findet in Kärnten, dem südlichsten Bundesland Österreichs, der bunteste Event der Welt statt. Ein Festival, dass weltweit die moderne Bodypainting Kunstbewegung entstehen lies. Am World Bodypainting Festival werden in 12 Kategorien die Weltmeisterschaftstitel sowie weitere Special und Amateur Awards vergeben. Künstler aus über 50 NaNationen geben alles, um mit ihren Kreationen die Besucher zum Staunen, Nachdenken und Lachen zu bringen.

Hochqualitative Kunst wird zum Erlebnis für alle Besucher im Open Air Kunstpark "Bodypaint City" und das ganze gepaart mit Musik und Shows. Das World Bodypainting Festival bietet seinen Besuchern die Möglichkeit Kunst mit allen Sinnen zu erleben! С 1998 года самый красочный ивент в мире проходит в Каринтии, на юге Австрии.В тВ течение 21 года фестиваль развил современное искусство бодиарт по всему миру. Всемирный Бодиарт Фестиваль проводит Чемпионат Мира по Бодиарту, а также соревнования в специальных и любительских наградах в 12 различных категориях. Since 1998 the most colorful event in the world has taken place in Carinthia, South of Austria. A festival that has developed the worldwide modern bodypainting art movement. Host City Man nennt die Kärntner Landeshauptstadt auch das „Renaissance-Juwel am Wörthersee“. Italienische Baumeister haben das Bild der 800 Jahre alten Stadt mit ihren Palais, Innenhöfen und Plätzen maßgeblich geprägt. Vom badewarmen Wörthersee zieht sich der Lendkanal mit zieht sich der Lendkanal mit seinen Jugendstil-Villen in der Linsengasse bis ins Herz der Stadt. It is the world’s most comprehensive, educational and training program for bodypainting, special effects and airbrush as well as make-up and photography. It takes place during the pre week leading up to the World Bodypainting Festival main days.

>> Die Arbeit der Teilnehmer/innen wird in 2 Schritten bewertet:1) Die grundlegende Technik und Umsetzung einer bestimmten Make-Up Skizze. Die Make-Up Skizze ist für alle Teilnehmer/innen dieselbe. 2) Kreatives Denken und die Verwandlung von einem klassischen Make-Up in einen kreativen Look.

>> The participants’ work is evaluated in 2 steps:1) 1) The basic performance of a given make-up sketch. The make-up sketch is the same for all participants. 2) Creative thinking and transformation of the basic make-up into a creative look.
