STORAGE & HANDLING PROTECTION

During storage and handling, Fabco Board insulation materials should be protected from the weather & petroleum-based solvents, adhesives and direct contact with certain coal-tar products. Fabco Board insulation should be protected from direct contact with asphalt at temperatures more than about 250" F (121° C), and it should not be exposed to �ames or other ignition sources.

JOINTS

When double-layer Fabco Board insulation is used, the joints of the insulation boards in the top layer should be vertically staggered & offset from the joints in the underlying layer. The end joints of adjacent rows of insulation boards should be staggered, and the edges of abutting insulation boards should be in moderate contact.

WALLS

Fabco Board ( W ) can be used as wall insulation also. It can be applied in several ways including as a sandwich application

FLOORS

H e a v y d u t y Fa b c o B o a r d ( F ) c a n b e u s e d f o r f loor appl icat ions a lso. The higher density and compressive strength makes it ideal for such applications.

MULTIPLE-LAYER INSULATION

NRCA'S recommended speci�cation is for multiple-layer insulation. Fabco urges double-layer a p p l i c a t i o n , especial ly when the total required thickness of XPS insulation is more than 1 inches (25 mm).

APPLICATION ROOF

Fabco Board (R) can be very conveniently installed on a roof. In classical as well as Inverted roofs. It can be used with most roof membranes if appropriate precautions are observed. Once the waterproofing membrane has been installed and flood tested, the Fabco Board insulat ion boards can be instal led loose laid or spot bonded to the waterproo�ng membrance. In protected roof membrane assemblies, ballast is applied after Fabco Board roof insulation has been loose laid over the roof membrane. The amount of ballast will vary with the project's wind-uplift resistance requirements & thickness of the Fabco Board roof insulation board.

تتمز ألواح فابكو لألسقف بأنها ذو خاليا مغلقة تعمل علي عزل الرطوبة والصوت والحرارة بطريقة مثلى كما أنه يتوفر بشكل ألواح متداخلة الجوانب حتي يسهل تركيبه واحد مع اآلخر بدون تسريب أي جزء من الحرارة ومعبأ في أكياس للحماية من أي أضرار أثناء النقل.

تتميز األلواح العازلة للجدران بنفس المميزات التي توجد في األلواح العازلة لألسقف مع وجود فرق في الضغط .

Fabco Board Wall :Fabco Board is thermal insulation is of great advantage where exist ing bui lding are to be insulated and also building with special exterior finishes. For the internal lining Fabco Board either with the help of adhesives or by mechanical fasteners with a density Fabco Board can be covered either by gypsum plaster or by wire mesh fixed with fastener and normal plaster.

Fabco Board Insulations are characterized by the following :

• Saving 60% of electrical consumption• Avery good shock absorbent• It never decomposes nor gets affected by moulds• Sound Proof• Lightweight and can be cut in all sizes and volumes• Has No chemical or side effects• No absorption of water and humidity, prevents water leaks• Harmless to human health and property• Fire retardant and in the case of combustion does not result in toxic gases• In conformity with specifications of the Saudi International standards• Easy to transport and install

Fabco Board (panel insulation) is characterised by having closed cells which keep out heat and sound in overlapping boards which are easy to fix with one another without letting in any amount of heat, they are [acked inside cases for protection from any damage while moving.
