2. Preise
1. Conrad-Amadeus Voltin, Medizinstudent und Doktorand der Klinik und Poliklinik für Nuklearmedizin, erhält den mit 500 Euro dotierten Reisepreis der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Nuklearmedizin (DGN). Dieser ermöglicht es ihm, seinen Kongressbeitrag mit dem Titel „Staging Patients with Hodgkin Lymphoma - Is Bone Marrow Biopsy Still Necessary in the Era of 18F-FDG PET?“ im Rahmen der 30. Jahrestagung (2017) der European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM) in Wien vorzustellen.
5. Nadine Apetz, Doktorandin in der AG Präklinische Bildgebung in der Nuklearmedizin der Uniklinik Köln, ist im April 2017 beim European Molecular Imaging Meeting in Köln mit dem Posterpreis geehrt worden. Ihr Poster mit dem Titel „Functional Connectivity During Deep Brain Stimulation in the Subthalamic Nucleus of Hemiparkinson Rats Measured with [18F]FDG-PET“ befasste sich mit den mittels Positronenemissionstomographie (PET) gemessenen Netzwerkveränderungen unter tiefer Hirnstimulation in einem Ratten-Parkinson-Modell.
6. Prof. van Eimeren leitet die AG Multimodale Bildgebung neuronaler Netzwerke. Eine Veröffentlichung der Arbeitsgruppe wurde nun als "Image of the Year" (2016) von der Society of Nuclear Medicine

ausgezeichnet. Der Titel der Arbeit lautet: Novel PET imaging demonstrates relationship between Tau bildup and neurodegeneration in Alzheimer's patients.
