Die TECHNO LED nova 150 ist eine Kaltlicht-Fontäne für industrielle Anwendungen.

Die Lichthelligkeit wird über einen Drehknopf E auf der Vorderseite eingestellt.

The TECHNO LED nova 150 is a cold light fountain for industrial applications.

The brightness of the light is adjusted with the control knob E on the front panel.

3 Warnung: Beim Berühren von blanken, spannungsführenden Teilen mit dem Endoskop besteht für den Benutzer höchste Gefahr, einen elektrischen Schlag zu erleiden. Niemals spannungsführende Teile berühren! Gerät vom Netz trennen; Anlage spannungsfrei schalten; Kondensatoren entladen usw.

2 Vorsicht: Akklimatisierungszeit! Wurde das Gerät vor der Inbetriebnahme bei Temperaturen unterhalb von +10 °C gelagert/transportiert, so kann es u.U. zur Bildung von Kondenswasser auf dem/im Gerät kommen. Planen Sie in diesem Fall unbedingt eine Akklimatisierungszeit von ca. 3 Stunden vor der Inbetriebnahme ein.

3 Warnung: Keine Flüssigkeiten auf oder über dem Gerät lagern. Ein Eindringen von Flüssigkeit in das Gehäuse ist unbedingt zu vermeiden.

2 Vorsicht: Vermeiden Sie die Überhitzung des Gerätes und sorgen Sie für ausreichende Lüftung. Das Gerät schaltet den Lichtaustritt bei Überhitzung ab, und zwar unabhängig von der Ursache der Überhitzung (Umgebung, Betriebsbedingungen, interner Fehler, ...).

2 Vorsicht: Wenn beim Einschalten des Gerätes ein Ton zu hören ist, kann ein Fehler vorliegen. Schalten Sie das Gerät aus und fahren Sie es erneut hoch. Sollte der Ton weiterhin zu hören sein, schicken Sie das Gerät zur Reparatur ein.

Si l’appareil a été transporté ou stocké à des températures inférieures à +10 °C avant sa mise en service, de la condensation risque éventuellement de se former sur/dans l’appareil. 3 aVertissement : Ne pas entreposer de liquides ni sur, ni audessus de l’appareil. Éviter impérativement que du liquide ne pénètre dans le boîtier.

2 aVis : Éviter toute surchauffe de l’appareil et assurer une aération suffisante. En cas de surchauffe, l’appareil éteint la sortie de lumière et ce, indépendamment de la cause de la surchauffe (environnement, conditions de service, dérangement interne, ...).

2 aVis : Si un signal se fait entendre lors de la mise sous tension de l’appareil, on peut être en présence d’un dérangement. Mettre l’appareil hors tension et le redémarrer. Si le signal continue de retentir, envoyer l’appareil pour le faire réparer.

1 remarque : Si l’appareil est déjà trop chaud à la mise sous tension, il ne se met pas en marche et n’émet pas de lumière. Si la surchauffe a lieu pendant l’utilisation, l’appareil émet des signaux acoustiques mais il continue tout d’abord à fonctionner. Il éteint la sortie de lumière au dépassement d’un seuil critique de température. Vous trouverez plus d’informations sur les dérangements possibles à la page 41.

3 cautela: Quando si toccano con l'endoscopio parti scoperte, in tensione, l’utilizzatore corre il rischio massimo di scossa elettrica. Non toccare mai parti in tensione! Staccare l’apparecchiatura dalla rete; togliere tensione all’apparecchio, scaricare i condensatori e così via.

2 aVVertenza: Rispettare il tempo di acclimatazione! Se l’apparecchiatura è stata stoccata/trasportata a temperature inferiori a +10 °C prima della messa in funzione, si può formare acqua di condensa sull’apparecchiatura o all’interno di essa. In questo caso, si consiglia di rispettare rigorosamente un tempo di acclimatazione di circa 3 ore prima di mettere in funzione l’apparecchiatura.

3 cautela: Non conservare liquidi sull’apparecchiatura o al di sopra di essa. Evitare assolutamente la penetrazione di liquido all’interno dell’alloggiamento.

2 aVVertenza: Se all’accensione dell’apparecchiatura si avverte un segnale acustico, ciò significa che potrebbe essersi verificato un errore. Spegnere e quindi riavviare l’apparecchiatura. Se si avverte ancora il segnale acustico, inviare l’apparecchiatura per la riparazione.

1 nota: Se l’apparecchiatura è già surriscaldata al momento dell’accensione, essa non si avvia e non emette alcuna luce. Se il surriscaldamento subentra invece durante il funzionamento, l’apparecchiatura emette segnali acustici, ma continua a funzionare. Die TECHNO LED nova 150 Lichtquelle darf nur unter fol-genden Bedingungen betrieben werden:

• Verwendung für industrielle Zwecke.

• Verwendung nur in Verbindung mit Zubehör, das von KARL STORZ angeboten, empfohlen oder als geeignet bezeichnet wird.

3 Warnung: Verwendung nur unter StandardUmweltbedingungen (siehe Technische Daten Seite 42).

• Das Gerät darf in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen weder aufgestellt noch betrieben werden.

Nettoyer l’extérieur de l’appareil avec un chiffon à usage unique peu pelucheux imbibé de produit de nettoyage. Pour le nettoyage, nous recommandons d’utiliser uniquement des produits de nettoyage à

base de liaisons ammonium quaternaires (pas de produits contenant de l’alcool concentré) ainsi que des produits de nettoyage à base de chlorures d’ammonium.

Ground the device (plug for potential equalization).

The device is equipped with a connector for potential equal-ization T. The device’s ground line should be installed by a qualified electrician.

Connect the power cord up to the device; push it as far as it will go into the power cord connector U.

2 caution: Danger of overheating. Make certain there is free air circulation upwards and to the rear (distance of rear panel to wall: 10 cm).

Place the unit with its underside facing downward onto a surface with the following characteristics:

• sufficiently large and stable

• flat and horizontal

• fixed, non-slip surface.

This can also be the top of another KARL STORZ unit.

Position the unit so that you can operate it and see the dis-plays from your working position.

1 note: For the safety of the application it is important that the unit can be easily operated from the normal working position and the displays are clearly visible. The setup position must be selected accordingly.

4.5 Sicherheitsfunktionen des Gerätes

• Das Gerät verfügt über eine Reihe von Sicherheitsfunktionen. Das Gerät durchläuft beim Einschalten einen Selbsttest. So werden bereits beim Start ggf. Defekte oder unzulässige Betriebsbedingungen erkannt und über ein akustisches Signal einmalig gemel-det.

• Stellen sich erst während des Betriebes unzulässi-ge Bedingungen ein, wird auch dieses signalisiert. Eskaliert die Situation, wird das Licht automatisch abgeschaltet. Durch das akustische Signal wird dem Anwender die Möglichkeit gegeben, auf die Entwicklung zu reagieren,entweder durch Beseitigung der Störungsursache oder durch kontrolliertes Abschließen seiner Anwendung.

Warnton

Das Warnsignal ist ein Ton von einer 1/2 Sekunde Länge, der sich mehrfach wiederholt.

• Im laufenden Betrieb wird damit eine Übertemperatur oder ein Gerätedefekt angezeigt. Dabei bleibt die Lichtabgabe noch bestehen bis die kritische Temperatur erreicht wird.

2 Vorsicht: Beseitigen Sie die Ursache für die Überhitzung (z.B. schlechte Belüftung, Wärme oder Lichteinwirkung usw.) oder schließen Sie Ihre Anwendung ab.

• Steigt die Temperatur weiter an, schaltet das Gerät beim Erreichen der kritischen Temperatur das Kaltlicht aus. Das Kaltlicht bleibt abgeschaltet bis zum Neustart des Geräts (Wiedereinschaltsperre), sofern die Temperatur unter den kritischen Wert gefallen ist..

• Wird die kritische Temperatur nicht überschritten bzw. sinkt die Gerätetemperatur wieder aufgrund der getroffe-nen Maßnahmen, bleibt das Gerät weiter in Betrieb.

• The unit includes a range of safety functions. During pow-er-up, the unit performs a self-test. This detects defects or impermissible operating conditions during start up and an acoustic signal is given.

• If impermissible operating conditions first become appar-ent during operation, this will also be signalled. If the situ-ation deteriorates, the light will switch off automatically. The acoustic signal gives the user the possibility to react to the development, either by resolving the cause of the error or by concluding their application in a controlled manner.

Warning signal

The warning signal is a tone lasting 1/2 a second, which is repeated several times.

• During operation, this indicates overheating or a device defect. Light continues to be output until the critical tem-perature has been reached.

2 caution: Remedy the cause of overheating (e.g., poor ventilation, effect of external heat or light, etc.) or conclude your application.

• If the temperature continues to increase, the cold light turns off when the unit reaches the critical temperature. The cold light remains turned off until the device is restart-ed (restart lockout) once the temperature has dropped below the critical value.

4.5 Fonctions de sécurité de l’appareil

• L’appareil dispose d’une série de fonctions de sécurité. L’appareil subit un autotest à la mise sous tension. Des éventuels dérangements ou conditions de service non conformes peuvent être ainsi détectés au démarrage et être signalés une fois par un signal acoustique.

• Si des conditions de service non conformes sont réunies pendant le fonctionnement, l’appareil les signale aussi. Si la situation empire, la lumière est automatiquement éteinte. L’utilisateur a ainsi la possibilité de réagir en fonction de l’évolution grâce au signal acoustique, soit en éliminant la cause du dérangement, soit en terminant de façon contrôlée son application.

Signal acoustique

Le signal d’avertissement est un signal acoustique qui dure 1/2 seconde et se répète plusieurs fois.

• Une température trop élevée ou un défaut de l’appareil sont ainsi signalés pendant le fonctionnement. L’émission de lumière est ainsi conservée jusqu’à ce que le seuil critique de température soit atteint.

2 aVis : Éliminer la cause de la surchauffe (par ex. mauvaise ventilation, incidence de chaleur ou de lumière, etc.), ou clore l’application.

• Si la température continue à monter, l’appareil coupe l’émission de lumière froide lorsque le seuil critique de température est atteint. La lumière froide reste éteinte jusqu’au redémarrage de l’appareil (verrouillage du rallu-mage) dans la mesure où la température est retombée en dessous de la valeur critique.

• Si le seuil critique de température n’est pas dépassé ou si la température de l’appareil redescend grâce aux mesures prises, l’appareil continue à fonctionner.

1 remarque : Si le fusible de surchauffe s’est déclenché, mettre l’appareil hors tension et le laisser refroidir suffisamment longtemps.

Segnale acustico

Il segnale acustico è un segnale della durata di 1/2 secon-do, ripetuto più volte.

• Durante il funzionamento esso indica una sovratempera-tura o un difetto dell’apparecchiatura. L’emissione di luce tuttavia persiste fino al raggiungimento della temperatura critica.

2 aVVertenza: Eliminare la causa del surriscaldamento (p. es. scarsa ventilazione, esposizione a calore o luce, ecc.) oppure terminare l’utilizzo.

• Se la temperatura continua a salire, l’apparecchiatura disattiva la luce fredda quando viene raggiunta la tempe-ratura critica. La luce fredda resta disattivata fino al riavvio dell’apparecchiatura (blocco contro la riaccensione), ammesso che la temperatura sia scesa sotto al valore critico.

• Se la temperatura critica non viene superata o la tempe-ratura dell’apparecchiatura si riduce grazie ai provvedi-menti presi, l’apparecchiatura resta in funzione.

Test fonctionnel

Réaliser le test fonctionnel conformément au manuel d’utilisation.

Le contrôle technique de sécurité doit être noté dans le journal de l’appareil et les résultats du contrôle doivent être documentés.

Si l’appareil ne fonctionne pas et/ou si les conditions de sécurité requises ne sont pas réunies, il doit être réparé.

5.3 Réparations

Les réparations de sources de lumière froide défectueuses doivent être effectuées uniquement par des personnes habilitées par nos soins et exclusivement avec des pièces KARL STORZ d’origine.

Les réparations de toutes les pièces optiques ne peuvent être réalisées que par KARL STORZ.

5.4 Élimination

Cet appareil présente le marquage approprié conformément à la directive européenne 2002/96/CE sur les déchets d’équipements électriques et électroniques (DEEE).

Possible causes:

• Power supply failure.

• Defective power fuse.

Remedy:

• Check that there is electricity to the wall outlet.

• Change fuse as described in the instruction manual. Use only fuses of the correct rating.

Symptom:

No light output, power switch is lit (on).

Possible causes

• Overheating due to covered air vents.

• Strong impacts or vibrations during operation.

• Power supply or LED is defective.

Remedy:

• Leave the light source to cool down, before switching the device on again.

• Ensure adequate ventilation.

• Turn the device off and then on again.

• Send device to KARL STORZ for repair.

Symptom:

Not enough light.

Possible causes

• End faces of the light cable and/or the endoscope are dirty.

• Fiberoptic light cable or endoscope is defective.

• LED service life exceeded.

Remedy:

• Clean end faces of the light cable and the light entrance and exit faces on the endoscope.

• Replace light cable or endoscope.

Exemple de dérangement :

Panne totale.

Causes possibles :

• Panne d’alimentation du réseau.

• Fusible défectueux.

Solutions :

• Faire vérifier l’alimentation électrique.

• Remplacer le fusible conformément aux instructions du manuel (respecter le type de fusible).


Pas d’émission de lumière, l’interrupteur principal est allumé (marche).

Causes possibles :

• Température excessive causée par l’obturation des fentes d’aération.

• Fortes secousses pendant le fonctionnement.

• Endommagement du bloc d’alimentation ou de la LED.

Solutions :

• Laisser refroidir la source lumineuse avant de reconnecter l’appareil.

• Assurer une aération suffisante.

• Déconnecter et connecter à nouveau l’appareil

• Envoyer l’appareil à KARL STORZ pour le faire réparer.


Lumière insuffisante.

Causes possibles :

• Extrémités du guide de lumière et/ou de l’endoscope encrassées.

• Guide de lumière ou endoscope défectueux.

• La durée de vie de la LED est dépassée

Solutions :

• Nettoyer les extrémités du guide de lumière et les surfaces d’entrée et de sortie de lumière de l’endoscope.

• Remplacer le guide de lumière ou l’endoscope.

• Envoyer l’appareil à KARL STORZ pour le faire réparer.
