The period since 1994 including 3-rd quarter of 2008, 2089,4 million USD of foreign direct investments into the economy of Kazakhstan were involved from Japan. Thus within 9 months in 2008 inflow of the Japanese investments into the Republic of Kazakhstan was at level of 336,4 million USD, which is higher for 46 % (244,1 million USD) than in 2007.In comparison with other countries’ investments volume into Kazakhstan for the specified period, Japan takes 14 place among 112 countries, according to the balance of payments of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
