The validity period of the lift pass is identical with that of the bus ticket. Skiers who are not yet in possession of a ski pass yet are clearly on their way to a ski area with the sole purpose of partici- pating in skiing, will be tolerated as first-time passengers and can also ride the regularly scheduled ski bus free of charge. You can ride our ski buses free of charge – during standard lift hours of operation between between 8 a.m. and 6.00 p.m. with a valid lift pass in hand for the respective ski area or a Salzburg Super Ski Card, dressed in ski clothing and solely in order to actively participate in skiing, from the village where you are staying to our different ski-areas. (IMPORTANT: the ski bus schedule is restricted in the period from season opening until 23.12.2011 as well as from 10.04.2012 until season’s end). Senior citizens ski free Lungau free skiing from 14th until 20th of January 2012 The Ski region Lungau offers all senior citizens over the age of 70 (year of birth 1942 or before) with a valid photo ID that stay a minimum of 7 nights in the Ferienregion. This special offer is valid in the ski areas of Großeck-Speiereck, Katschberg-Aineck* and Fanningberg. You can use a maximum 6-day-skipass for free. *The free-skipasses are not available at the ticket sale offices in the ski-area Katschberg. General Information FIS-Regulations: The FIS-regulations are to be abided by on all the slopes. Reimbursement: In the event of skiing accidents, reimbursements are available for multi- day ski passes. Such reimbursement is only possible in the event of injury and requires attestation from a physician! The number of days the ski pass has been used will be cal- culated based on and will include the day the pass was issued and the day it is returned. Important: with respect to cash compensation, the important date is that upon which the pass was returned to the ticket office, not when the actual accident happened. No reimbursement is permitted for non-use of the ski pass due to inclement weather, avalan- che danger, illness, early departure, non-operation of certain lifts, closure of particular slopes or premature cessation of lift operations. The ski-pass holder is not entitled to replacement of the pass In the event that it is either lost or blocked. Special rules pertain to season passes. Ticket exchange: Transferring the lift ticket to another person, the subsequent exchange for another ticket, or the alteration of the validity is not allowed.
