Our search did reveal a le t ter from a New York import firm writtenin 1958 -by a ·Jack Rubenstein to the Office of MunitiOns Controls .requescing

permission to negotiate the purchase o f firearms and ammunition from a n ~I ta l ian firm.

We also checked the f i le of one Abe Rubinstein i n the Records ServiceCenter. Alexandria. Virginia. This cheek revealed simply that the individual.a longtime resident of New York, bad applied for a United Nations. position..-... .... 1-- ..   .some years ago.

appear as though the Commission had asked for informat ion on

RUBY and his relatives la te n the day. He asked that we word the

our f i les contained no information on RUBY.
