Und auch zum Arrangieren von Leuchten, Zeitschriften und Coffee Table Books haben die Ablageboards die besten Vor-aussetzungen.

Boards in glass or leather are ultra-con-venient for short spells of daydreaming or extensive reading sessions as the perfect place to deposit the Sunday paper, a glass of wine or your iPad. You could of course use them to display lamps, magazines and coffee table books.


Die Polsterbank ergänzt das Sofa – oder überzeugt als Solitär in Entree, Lobby und Galerie. Jaan Living ist vieles – nur nicht banal bodenständig. Dafür ist es wahrlich zu leichtfüßig.

A landscape of cushions. At first glance. But Yuuto is so much more. In their search for that special comfort, the designers developed “coussins indépendants”: framework, stretched straps, with the soft upholstery on top. Every seat cushion is effectively a sofa in itself. Comfort par excellence.

Raffiniert und filigran steht Joco im Raum.Die Drahtstruktur trägt die dünne Tisch-platte. Scheinbar schwerelos und doch sta-bil. Der Gesetzmäßigkeit der Geometrie folgen die ausgelaserten Quadrate auf der runden Tischplatte.

Joco is sophisticatedly elegant. The wire structure carries the slimline table top. Apparently weightless but totally stable. The lasered squares on the round table top follow the regularity of geometry.

Less is more – diese Grundwahrheit guten Designs erfährt hier eine zusätzliche Bestätigung. Denn Living Platform ist viel mehr als ein minimalistisch-zeitloses Sofa: Einfach die Rückenkissen beiseite nehmen, die Sitzfläche nach vorne ziehen, die Armlehnen umklappen, und schon wird aus dem Sitz- ein Liegemöbel.

Less is more – this basic design precept is given additional confirmation here. Be-cause Living Platform is much more than a minimalistically timeless sofa: just take off the back cushions, pull the seating area out to the front, fold up the armrests and this seat becomes an oasis to lounge on.

The Atelier Chair is a gentle ascetic in the tradition of the Bauhaus movement. Leather and steel are the skin and bones – minimised and timeless, elegant and sustainable. The visible construction reveals the function of the chair: the headrest is easy to adjust. The familiarity of a good vintage, the reserve of a gentleman. Sensitive propor-tions, top-notch leather and honest craftsmanship: things that remain grand and become more and more attractive the older they get. The elaborately fi nished visible seam is quite simply classy.

Die Zusammenarbeit von Lord Norman Foster, dem weltbekannten Architekten, und Walter Knoll nahm mit der Neu-gestaltung des Berliner Reichstages ihren Anfang. Heute zählen die Lobby-Sessel und Sofas zu den modernen Klassikern.

Going back to the origins. The last rays of the sun bathe the savannah in liquid gold. Zebras graze in a hollow, a giraffe emerges from among the acacias. The changing incidence of light makes the veldt seem never-ending. In the towns, a fragrant air and the right colours of the spices at the bazaar, the colour transitions on the walls plastered by hand in the alleyways, dust and glimmering heat, shimmering mirages and magnificent orchid gardens. The Walter Knoll carpets were developed in collaboration with fabric designer Helmut Scheufele and are inspired by the wealth of shapes and colours in Africa. They take their strength from the source of creativity of that continent, transposed into valuable, timeless design. The delicate shades of pink are reminiscent of reflections at sunset, where suddenly a green thread twinkles in a sea of warm sand colours. Individual carpet pictures full of naturalness and elegance.

A composition in three tones. Wool from the Tibetan highlands, fine Chinese silk and the yarn of nettle fi bres – poetic qualities shape our carpets. Our partner workshops in Nepal have been in the same family for generations. This is where the carpets are hand-crafted using traditional Tibetan knotting methods. The personal interpretation of the per-son doing the knotting makes every item unique. The result: special pieces of contemporary carpet art. For true values that are

handed down from generation to generation.

Einzelkissen mit Kaltschaum in Sandwichaufbau mit Watteabdeckung und Unter- federung mit Gurten für eine strenge Polsteroptik. Der Bezug ist abnehmbar. Rücken in Kaltschaum mit Watteabdeckung. Abschlusselement in drei Vari-anten: Armlehne gepolstert, Armlehne mit Sattel- leder bezogen und als Ablage in Sattelleder. Sockel in Buche, schwarz lackiert.

Seat cushions in two designs: single cushion ticking sewn into chambers with down filling and cold cure foam in sandwich construction and suspension with straps for casual-looking upholstery.
