Die PRIORIT AG, Hersteller feuerbeständiger Bauteile für den baulichen

Brandschutz, führt seit Beginn dieses Jahres für 15 ihrer Produkte und

Produktgruppen die Deklaration für die Zertifizierungssysteme im Be-

reich Green Building nach LEED und DGNB.

Die Zertifizierung der Nachhaltigkeit von Gebäuden im Gewerbe- und

Bürobereich gewinnt für Bauherren und Betreiber immer mehr an Be-

deutung. Nachhaltigkeit besitzt mittlerweile den gleichen Stellenwert wie

Zweckmäßigkeit und trägt zum gesteigerten Prestige der Objekte bei. Ho-

hes Ansehen genießen in Deutschland und dem angrenzenden Ausland

das amerikanische System LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmen-

tal Design) sowie die Zertifizierung nach DGNB (Deutsche Gesellschaft für

nachhaltiges Bauen). Beide Systeme vergeben die Zertifizierung „Green

Building“ jeweils für ein Gesamtprojekt. In dem Zusammenhang gewin-

nen aber auch die eingesetzten Komponenten, Baustoffe und Hilfsmittel

an Bedeutung – unter anderem in Bezug auf Umweltverträglichkeit, Ge-

sundheitsrisiken, Ressourcenschonung oder auch Produktionsbedingun-

gen und Herstellung im eigenen Land.

Die PRIORIT-Produkte mit Deklaration für LEED und DGNB ermöglichen

es Architekten, Planern und Bauherren transparent und fundiert Projek-

te gezielt auf eine Green-Building-Zertifizierung auszurichten und das

schon beginnend bei den eingesetzten Baustoffen.

Since the beginning of this year, PRIORIT AG, a manufacturer of fire resistive components for the constructional

fire protection, obtained the declaration for certification systems in the area of Green Buildings according to LEED

and DGNB for 15 of its products and product groups.

The certification for sustainability of commercial and office buildings becomes more and more important for

builders and operating companies. Sustainability has now the same significance as usefulness and it contributes

to the increased prestige of the objects. The American system LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental

Design) is held in high esteem in Germany and the adjacent countries and the same is true for the certification

in accordance with DGNB (Deutsche Gesellschaft für nachhaltiges Bauen [German association for sustainable

construction]). Both systems grant the certification "Green Building" respectively for a total project. In this

connection, the components, building materials and auxiliary materials also are more significant – among

others, with respect to environmental compatibility, health risk, resource protection or production conditions

and domestic production.

The PRIORIT products with declarations for LEED and DGNB allow architects, planners and builders to target

projects in a transparent manner for a Green Building certification and this already at the start for the const-

ruction materials used.

European Security Systems Association (ESSA)

» Die Forschungs- und Prüfgemeinschaft (FuP) wurde 1967 als Vorgängerin der ESSA mit dem Ziel gegründet, Normen und Prüfvorschriften als Basis für die Klassifizierung und Gütesicherung von Produkten des Geldschrank- und Tresorbaus zu entwickeln. Auf Grundlage dieses Prüf-, Zertifizierungs- und Gütesicherungssystems hat die FuP bis Dezember 2001 RAL-Zertifikate für Wertbehältnisse erteilt.

Auf Grundlage der Europäischen Normen für Produkte der Sicherheitsbran-che hat die ESSA mit Wirkung ab Januar 2002 ihr Zertifizierungssystem neu – europäisch – ausgerichtet.

ECB•S (European Certification Boards•Security) ist die „Marke“ der European Security Systems Association (ESSA) e.V. als akkreditierte Zertifizierungsstelle nach EN 45 011 für Sicherheitsprodukte.

Die ECB•S-Zertifizierung der ESSA basiert ausschließlich auf den Anfor -derungen der europäischen Normung und ist international anerkannt.

European Security Systems Association (ESSA)

Die PRIORIT Hochsicherheits-Raumzelle (HSRZ) kommt bei IT-, Kom-munikations- und Back-up/Archivsystemen zum Einsatz, wenn es um Hochverfügbarkeit geht. Das Raumsystem hat eine sehr hohe mecha-nische Festigkeit gegen extreme Schlag- und Druckbelastung, auch im Brandfall. Durch baulichen Brandschutz sollen Brände bzw. deren Aus-breitung verhindert werden. Vorrangiges Ziel ist hierbei der Personenschutz. Damit steht die Sicherung der Flucht- und Rettungswegen im Mittelpunkt aller baulichen Maßnahmen. Diese müssen der Ausbreitung von Feuer und Rauch verbeu-gen und wichtige Leistungsanlagen funktionstätig erhalten. Hierfür entwickelt und fertigt PRIORIT feuerwiderstandsfähige und bauordnungsrechtlich zugelassene Bauteile. Structural fire protection is to prevent fire or the spread of fire. The primary objective is the protection of persons. Securing escape and rescue routes is the focus of all structural mea-sures. These must prevent the spread of fire and smoke and keep important power facilities operational. To this end, PRIORIT develops and manufactures fire-resistant building regulati-ons compliant components.

An Tunnel für den Straßenverkehr werden erhöhte Anforde-rungen gestellt. Denn im Brandfall wirkt die Sauerstoffzufuhr in der Tunnelröhre wie in einem Kamin: es entstehen extrem schnell sehr hohe Temperaturen. In einem mehrjährigen, durch Bundesmittel geförderten Forschungsprojekt wurden von PRIORIT Wände, Decken, Türen, Kabel- und Rohrschotts nach Vorgabe von RABT und ZTV-ING entwickelt und unter-sucht. Road traffic tunnels are subject to increased requirements. Because the oxygenation system in the tunnel tube acts like a chimney in case of fire: it results in very high temperatures extremely fast. In a multi-year research project funded by federal funding, PRIORIT developed and examined walls, ceilings, doors, cable and pipe bulkheads according to specifications of RABT and ZTV-ING.

Bei der Lagerung von brennbaren Flüssigkeiten gibt es drei grundlegende Anforderungen: erstens die Minimierung des Brandrisikos sowie der Schutz des Inhalts von Schränken im Brandfall, zweitens die Minimierung der abgegebenen Dämp-fe und drittens die Rückhaltung möglicher Leckagen inner-halb der Schränke. Hierfür entwickelt und fertigt PRIORIT die entsprechenden Sicherheitsschränke. Auf der Basis nichtbrennbar klassifizierter Baustoffe fertigt PRIORIT feuerwiderstandsfähige Bauteile mit dekorativen Oberflächen in Me-tall, Holz und Kunststoff für den Hoch-, Industrie- und Tunnelbau. Ne-ben standardisierten Systemlösungen wie Räume, Wände, Türen und Klappen umfasst die Produktpalette Brandschutzschränke für Elekt-roverteiler, ITK Systeme, Akten und Gefahrstoffe. Die PRIORIT Innova-tionskraft zeigt sich in vielen Patenten und Schutzrechten und mehr als 40 bauaufsichtlichen Zulassungen im In- und Ausland.

PRIORIT AG designed security develops, produces and sales structural fire protection solutions. This ensures a low ex-factory price and the fastest implementation of fire protection measures from development to customer.

PRIORIT offers fire-resistant components on the basis of non-combustible and classified materials with decorative surfaces in metal, wood and plastic for building, industrial and tunnel construction. In addition to standardized systems such as rooms, walls, doors and flaps, the product range includes fire protection cabinets for electrical distributors, IT operations, storage of documents and hazardous materials. PRIORIT’s innovative strength is demonstrated by many patents and property rights and more than 40 national and international technical approvals.

Since its foundation in 2000, the QM-certified company has evolved into a well-known player in this industry with more than 100 employees. PRIORIT customers come from all public, private and industrial sectors that directly or indirectly deal with fire protection: architects, fire protection specialist planners, electrical and technical building equipment professionals, interior designers and interior decorators and many others.
