In1960,TheodoreMainmanbuiltthefirstMachinethatusedtheconceptof„LightAmplifi-cationbyStimulatedEmissionofRadiation“.Theconceptallowstoproducelightwithpowedensitiesthataremillionsoftimeshigherthanthehighestconventionallyproducedcapacityandpowerdensity.

Thelaserallowsfordifferentmaterialswithlowmaterialstrengthtobecut,drawninto,orengraved.

Differentplasticsaremostappropriate,butpaper,woodensurfacescanalsobeused.

2. Enter the width and height of the sheet to be cut. e.g. : 1000mmx700mm

5. Activatethepreview(Ansichtsfenster)andclickonSET.Finally,clickon„MOVE„intheRhinooperationcolumn,undmovetheprintingwindowoverthedrawing.Whensettingthescale,makesurethatitis1:1.

7. AfterclickingPRINTopentheTROTECJobontrolwindow.

Assoonasthedrawingisreadyyoucanopenuptheprin-tingmenu.


3. Use the control-panel to place the laser printer head in the center over thematerial.

2. Ifthematerialisnotcompletelyflat,usetapetofixittothetable.

4. Themetalpiece(spaceseparationtool)mustbehungontothelaserprinterheadasshownintheimageabove.Thenthetablemustbecarefullymovedupstep-by-stepuntilthemetalpiecefalls off.

Inorderfortheburningpointofthelaserbeamtobeac-curate,thedistancefromthelensetothematerialmustbeinstalled.Ifmaterialthicknessischangedthennewsettingsmustbeinstalled.

Programtostartthejob

TheprintingjobissenttotheLaser´sprogram(TROTEC-Engraver).

1. Delete all the old jobs with delete button.

2. Double-clickonthechosenlaserfile(youcanviewthefileinthesmallpreviewwindow).

The white area corresponds to the work area of the laser. Thefilemustbeplacedintheupperleftcornerofthewhitearea.

1.Doubleclickonthewhiteareatoopenthematerialpro-pertieswindow.Enterthematerialnameandthickness.

2.Ifyouopenthe„All“(Alle)menu,youcanchangethe

values for the colors.

Thevaluesmustbetakenfromthelistthatislocatednearthecomputer.

IMPORTANT:Gas1mustbeenteredintothe„Zublasung“column.

Example:

Ifthedrawingsarecomplicatedwithmanylines,thevectorclassification(Vektorsortierung)shouldbeused.Thismeansthatthelineswillbecutinaspecificorder.

PayingwithQuick

Thelasercuttingprocesscanbestartedafterpayingattheslotmachine.5minutesbeforeyourtimeisup,thesignallightturnsorange,soyoucanestimateifyouneedmoretimetocutallyourparts.

PayingwithaQuick-PrepaidCard:

1. YoucangetyourQuick-Prepaidcardat:PayLife,Marxergasse1B,1030WienoryoucanuseacashcardwithaQuick-function.

2. PutyourQuick-PrepaidCardintheslotmachine.Onthedisplayyouseethebalanceofyourcard.

3. Press buttons + and – to select laser 1 or 2.

4. Pressbuttons+and–todebitanamount.

5. PressOK.

6. Whenthedisplaysays„Karteentfernen“,youcanremoveyourcard.

7. Youcanstartthecuttingprocessbypressingplay.

7. Payment


Onceallthesettingshavebeenadjusted,thelaserprintercan be started.

Thejobcanbepausedifyouwanttoremoveparts.Thela-sercanbestartedagainbypressingII(Pause)intheTrotecJobControlProgram(onthecomupter).

Thelasermayonlybeusedundersupervision.Ifyouleavetheroom,pausetheprintingjob.
