The ICNIRP guidelines were developed by an independent scientific organization afterthorough evaluations of relevant research studies, and have been endorsed by the World Health Organization (WHO). The ICNIRP guidelines are also referenced inthe European Directive 2013/35/EU,2 forming the basis of the applicable RF exposure framework for workers.

The applicable exposure limit is specified in terms of the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR), measured in units of watts per kilogram (W/kg). SAR tests of these MotorolaSolutions devices indicate that they conform with the applicable SAR limits defined in harmonized3 standard EN50360,4 and EN50566,5 using operatingconfiguration(s) while transmitting at nominal power, with results scaled to the highest certified power level in all tested frequency bands.

SAR tests, performed at a laboratory certified to the ISO/IEC Guide 17025,6 show that these Motorola Solutions' portable device model(s), in all tested operatingmodes (on the body, on the sides of the head, and in front of the face as applicable), at the highest certified power level(s), conform(s) with the ICNIRP limits forprofessional devices and occupational users,7 and both the health and the sensory ELVs defined in Directive 2013/35/EU.8
